Developments NOV18 >E. Aleppo rebels disperse protesters with machine gun fire, execute the organizers >SDF continued their advance towards Raqqa with 25km to go >4 more representatives of inhabited areas in Latakia and Hama provinces signed truce and reconciliation agreements bringing the total number to 951 >TFSA troops still 2km away from al-Bab shelling town >US led coalition distancing themselves from Turkeys operation >VKS Strategic Aviation fleet hitting Syria, Tu-95MS flew a sortie yesterday
If I read this correctly then the sortie is in fact the cruise missile trip around Europe from last week, but reported again for good measure.
Strategic bombing is kinda getting out of fashion desu.

Langley guys deviced a plan to split the communtiy, dox the most active members and ultimatelly kill of /sg/, don't fall for their trap.

Finally a news story with a hopeful and happy ending!

Too little too late, Russia's well entrenched, Trump wants to remove ISIS, and here in France it's probably Fillon or Le Pen as next prez, which means ties cut with the Emirates
Taymiyyo-wahhabists + their western funders/handlers = utterly BTFO if God wills

Do you mean UAE when you say Emirates? If so, could you elaborate?

Still working on details, but soon.
SOON

What's so denialy about it? They got on of their independencies 98 years ago. Lots of countries celebrate independence days, that were broken by occupation since..baltics, poland,Philippines...

We send some messages via Morse code through electric cables.you surely heard of it. Astonishing new tech. Much faster than the postillion via horse carriages we use here.

From wikipedia: >Independence > • Declared 18 November 1918 > • Recognised 26 January 1921 > • Soviet occupation 5 August 1940 > • Nazi German occupation 10 July 1941 > • Soviet re-occupation 1944 > • Announced independence 4 May 1990 > • Restored independence 21 August 1991[2] > • Independence recognized by the Soviet Union 6 September 1991 > • Joined the European Union 1 May 2004 So they have been independent for two short periods in 1918-40 and again in 1991-2004. Even if we count those together it's only 34,5years < 98
Germans are free to claim a lot of great things about their nation and people, but a sense of humor is a big exception.

Should have written KSA + Emirates sorry. If Qatar's in it I don't see how the neighbors wouldn't, isn't UAE sunnism crypto-wahhabitic?
What about Oman? they seem to not support jihadism, but I don't know
Thomas Carter
Does ISIS manufacture their own explosives? They destroy a lot of buildings with explosives.
Joseph Barnes
Qatar and Saudi have been linked to ISIS, which UAE haven't (as a government, only individuals). To my knowledge a lot of the local people are some kind of wahhabists, but much more moderate. Those I know don't mind I have a drink or eating pork if we're on a business trip together. That being said, UAE was/is Saudi's main ally in Yemen.
Oman is very different story with no known ties to terrorism and they were the ones trying to broker a peace deal in Yemen recently.
>Oman keeps terrorism vulnerability to zero >Country’s tough line against extremism and sectarian intolerance rewarded
Fillon was part of Sarkozy's government when it helped destroying Libya and starting democracying Syria, but is said to have had no hand in it. He's now harshly criticizing the french external policy, wants out of foreign intervention, wants to cut ties with Qatar and KSA Le Pen family enjoys shady deals but they won't make them with extreme sunnis like those of the Arab Peninsula, so I think whatever's the outcome (victory of the Left looking unlikely), things are going to change in a big way
Kek..and? Phillipine independence was 1898 and lost it immediately as being an us colony till 1946. So again, they have been longer colony than independent, still they celebrate it. Same with polish and so on. Not everybody can keep their independence like you did especially smaller countries. They need these earlier dates to always reinterate their rightful claim to be independent, when the next hordes of outsider come and claim your homeland. So I don't see your point.

>which UAE haven't (as a government, only individuals)
Wasn't there the one leak in the podesta mails, which shows that the governments themselves did aid Isis? Or was UAE excluded..have to find it...
Luis Thomas
When?
Owen Nelson
I only saw Saudi and Qatar in those emails.
>we need to use our diplomatic and more traditional intelligence assets to bring pressure on the governments of Qatar and Saudi Arabia, which are providing clandestine financial and logistic support to ISIL and other radical Sunni groups in the region
You do realize that this is only because Trump badly needs bipartisanship in his picks? Otherwise he's going to get so totally slaughtered by the democrats media and other connections over every single fucking thing he does that he won't even be able to go to the toilet without there being 34 articles slamming his bad habit of pissing on the seat and five new investigative committees in the congress on the subject.
He's also the most hated president ever in the country before he has even been sworn in.
Gavin Bailey
more like: >"When a country joins NATO, it becomes next to impossible for it to resist pressure from a major NATO leader such as the United States and hence it may deploy anything - a missile defense system, new bases or, if need be, missile strike systems," he said. >"And what are we supposed to do? We are forced to take counter measures, that is, to aim our missile systems at those facilities which we think pose a threat to us," he stressed. "The situation is heating up."
Ryan Rodriguez
>He's also the most hated president ever in the country before he has even been sworn in. White Americans like him more than Obama, and that's all that matters.
Also, what's funny is that like 70% of Hispanics dislike Trump, and yet almost 60% agree with his immigration policies (according to a recent poll).
I wouldn't worry too much, UAE is positioning itself ready to buy ~10bn worth of Rafales right after the French elections. Neither of the candidates is going to turn that big sums down

I don't worry. I'm just curious. I haven't followed the French election. I know UAE cannot afford to appear too islamic. Especially Dubai who needs the tourism.
