Keynesian economics

Is Keynesian economics ultimate blue pill?

>be Japan
>let's spend ton of money to maintain our total demand
>It's over 20years from operating keynesian economics
>Japan struggle low growth rate
>National debt is over 250% of GDP

thanks keynesian economists. You guys are awesome.

it just hasn't been tried the right way ;^) that's not real keynesianism

you need to spend more to get the economy going so you can get out of the debt

like socialims^^

oh wait...

Only the strong survive.

It was a revolutionary economic policy that worked tremendously in the wake of the Great Depression because it was the ideal scenario for its success

Modern economies should be hesitant to adopt a Keynesian outlook because they do not work in the current geopolitical climate

yeah it worked so well to get people out of the depression....

It absolutely did

The massive spending influx of the New Deal offered a short-term patch for the US economy and the industrial support the US offered during WWII offered a effective resolution to the "Spend/save" philosophy Keynesian Ec requires

but it did retard.

Your population isn't growing.
It's hard to have economic growth with falling population.
And debt is essentially irrelevant.

Keynesianism? Why not have some Post Keynesianism.

To answer your question, this guy (Sean Last) writes the hatefacts section at TRS and the Alternative Hypothesis he is a big tent Keynesian

Here he is making the case for Nationalism

I hate this meme so much, but I hate it especially because it's what is taught in US History classes as what "saved the US from the depression". It wasn't. World War II saved the US from the depression - every other industrial nation on the planet went to war and bombed the shit out of each other. It's why we had the economic boom that we did post WWII.

true family. dat 13 year recovery was lit af desu

Speaking of the Depression of 1921

You are very conservative button down bureaucracy with a bunch of commies and strange rules on sex some of which you are forgetting your own even more progressive history. Quite confusing. All what you describe is Abe's. Keynes was racist. If you want Chicago school for goyim go ahead

You're missing why it worked.
Keynes' ideas were very influential to the New Deal, which whould have been a boneheaded move at any other time but the time it was implemented.

WWII prevented short-term gains from becoming long-term losses and was instrumental to the US economic recovery, but Keynesian economics was definitely a net positive for the American economy of the time

You also have a lot of unions. You are homogenous. A Japanese Bernie would have done well there. Don't become too Trumpy

Don't worry. After the bitcoin and blockchain revolution Keynesian economics will not be possible any more.

Also, buy Bitcoin

The Eternal Anglo strikes again.

the massive spending greatly reduced the economy, and canibolized productivity in favor of a plan economy. there is an argument that US could have exited the depression faster if it not for the many failed ideas behind hoover and roosevelt

What got us out of the Great Depression was the END of WW2 and the government FUCKING OFF out of our industries.

...

This. Post Keynesian economics is the ultimate red pill. Theories based on facts. No “a priori" bullshit or overly simplistic models.

Pretty much all of Japan's debt is internal.

Also, Japan wouldn't be in this situation if we didn't fuck them over with the Plaza Accord.

>go off gold standard
>utilize new complicated banking system only ((economists)) understand
>go to universities to learn this complicated ((economics))
>banks skim off the top

All we ever needed was sound money and laws.
