I waved at it when it was about a 1km away from me, and it turned on a red light that started flashing. It then turned left and traveled a further 2km and then it's lights went out. And it was gone.

Yeah definitely human origin, at the time I thought it resembled the B2 Spirit a bit. But the B2 spirit doesn't have that light configuration underneath.
