Any democrats here?

Am I the only democrat on /pol?

Im not lefty pussy but what a democrat should be
>workers rights
>retirement security
>job security
>social security benefits
>health care for those who work
>transparent government

what is the problem with having these beliefs?

The only right a worker has is to choose to sell his labor. You're not entitled to anything else. Forcing people to accept your socialist ideals is where you go wrong.

bump

but when someone works they have the right to saftey, the right to security, the right to health

I used to lean towards democrat. Supported Obama and all that.

Not anymore.

Democrats would be much more appealing if they'd drop the anti-gun, anti-white, open borders bullshit.

i believe you can have guns thats your right
white people are the back bone of america
and we need to rework immigration not open boarders

I'm still a democrat, have been since 2002, but I've become far right since Ferguson. I still think many left wing policies could work, but only in homogeneous white or asian societies.

I'm probably going to reregister, but I don't know which party it'll be.

i agree with you

Nothing in your post mentions People of Color or LGBQTSDS rights OP

You have no party.

you forgot the most important one: climate change

this man should take power again

Nope. You sell yourself to the work you are willing to do.

you are entitled to the bill of rights but when it comes to people of color and lgbt community and nothing more

I can agree with some basic worker's rights. But you aren't entitled to a job. The security you get from a job depends on your job and education.

Social security is a ponzi scheme. People need to invest in their own retirement. I've met some dumbass boomers who think they're entitled to social security. The money they put in is long gone. They're living on mine and other's social security taxes.

but no one working 40 hours a week should have to worry if they are going to live pay check to pay check

bump

You're not entitled to everything you want for working the most menial labor.

In an ideal world maybe. The problem is that people make poor choices. If you are living paycheck to paycheck, you have to manage your expenses that way...meaning that you cannot have children or get married right away. You have to work and save and hopefully get an education for a job that will make you more money.

The biggest problem is a lack of direction and basic financial knowledge.

but what about the people who work in factories, who work in mines, who work on the farms, who work on ships. Shouldn't they have basic workers security

Everything he listed is anti-socialist idiot, the concepts of social security, job security, minimum wage etc were all created to keep workers happy so no socialist or communist revolutions would happen.

You assume the risk for the work you are willing to do. The only work right a man has is to choose to sell his labor.

both my father and my grandfather worked in Ford factories they worked hard and they barely got enough to retire on they deserved way more for they years of labor they gave for the companys

obviously you grew up in a upper class neighbor hood and never used your hands to work

no

not an argument

of course it is someone who knows how it feels to live paycheck to paycheck would understand how much it is needed for job security

Raised in a family that left Poland because of communism. Socialism is the decay of capitalism. Socialism leads to communism.

Absolutely

im not arguing for socialism im arguing for basic workers rights, no one should be a slave for the company they work for

bump

Leave my fucking guns alone faggot.

i dont care if you have guns

>im arguing for basic workers rights
The only right a worker has is to choose to sell his labor
>no one should be a slave
Which is true with previous statement

If the work is too risky, if the risk of danger is too great, you have the right to say no. If the compensation is too low (due to supply and demand, not because you were brainwashed to ask for more), then you have the right to say no. You are not entitled to social benefits. The only right a worker has is to choose to sell his labor.

Wasn't Ford unionized? It's hard for me to believe they didn't get paid well.
My parents immigrated in the 90s and did factory work as well and got paid just barely above minimum wage for years to put me through school. But at least they had good healthcare. I barely saw them growing up because they were working 6 days a week.
They worked hard and saved up. This is the problem with most people. They do not spend wisely.

You. Aren't.

You choose what company to work at. You agree to the terms of employment. If you do not like those terms negotiate for better terms or suck it up and work there until you can afford an education to get a better job. All this "slave to corporations" bullshit is just defeatist talk from people who refuse to put in the work necessary to get them where they want in life, so they demand that the govt. bring that life to them.

>>workers rights
What rights dont they have?
>>retirement security
How is giving my money to the feds so they can give it to my grandpa more efficient than be just giving it directly to him
>>job security
like?

they were payed well but for the longest time there was no cheap healthcare

Why should a company handle your retirement?

Is it true democrats have not been this mad at republicans since the republicans freed the slaves in the 1800s?

> there was no cheap healthcare
because of the government

Sounds like the reasons my grandma has for being democrat. This is what the democratic party preached years ago, but it has become something completely different today.

Democrats have always been shit

if the democrats preached this again they would win the white house so often

>workers rights
>retirement security
>job security
>social security benefits
>health care for those who work
>transparent government
and
>OPEN BORDERS

How do you defend the party in its current state??

>implying retards like him understand that
>implying he knows shit about working conditions in 19th century
There's no point talking to iliterates.

I'm a democrat but I still voted for Trump. I've found the party no longer represents what it did when I joined it 20 years ago.

there is no point in talking to mountain niggers

How are old people on social security going to start a communist revolution?

Nothing. However democrats, or rather the dnc, doesn't represent green texted policy ideas in a consistent, cohesive manner. It relies on oppressed identity politics affective voters while ignoring the middle and working class whole employing tactics of electoral suppression. Known as the party of Wall Street, they are effectively republican (big banks and oil) in political actuality because oil needs a market to be traded and banks to pool investments for pipelines. Neither party represents individual rights opting for corporate donations instead.

>Says he's a democrat
>Seems to be against anything democrats have done for thirty years.

>The work you're Willing to do.

Found the sour and failed business owner.

The party of gibmedats

Why didn't they saved money for their retirement, instead of relying on Ford for their old age?
They're retarded if you ask me.

Do you see either party actually representing any of those beliefs?
I don't see either block over here doing so.

Young people working in shitty conditions will.
How can you be so retarded when you have examples like China even today?
Capitalism cannot survive without regulation and government intervention. Keynesianism is the only way capitalism really works, in the sense that everyone profits.

What are your thoughts on basic income? Those jobs you talk about are all being automated which basically invalidates your 1970s democratic ideals that trump appealed to

Have no problem with those in one form or another

Will not tolerate thought police, PC culture, "hate crime" for merely talking. Free speech is all speech, or no speech is free. Fuck places like Britain for allowing their government to take complete control -- they deserve what they will get.

>>social security benefits
fuck your handouts

>How can you be so retarded when you have examples like China even today?
are they revolting?
The poor have always been the dregs of society and never were a threat to revolt

even though these jobs are automated we can still find a way to get these people working some how

i agree you can have any viewpoints you want thats your right as an american or in this case a leaf

Right now? Nope. But it's possible.
>The poor
The lower middle class will back the poor. Are you retarded or something? Do you not know basic history?
Why are you so desperate to ruin your own society and yourself?
Why are you parroting idiocies that were disproven by reality at the start of 20th century?
Do you think it's a coincidence that the most succesful economy of late 19th century (Germany) implemented welfare programs?

Thats what fucked us in the first place

>Do you not know basic history?
I know that a marxist revolution never happened anywhere
>Do you think it's a coincidence that the most succesful economy of late 19th century (Germany) implemented welfare programs?
How were they more successful than America?

>I'm not a lefty pussy or anything, just please support some of my state back policies that in the past has created all of the problems we face today

Learn what fiat currency is you fucking dope and shut the fuck up with your pie in the sky dreams

Too bad Democrats don't do shit for those beliefs.

I'm a Liberal but I'll never be a Democrat again. Fuck you.

Wow that's fresh m8

t. Ancap

They were more succesful than America, and America if you didn't notice is a huge resource-rich and almost empty continent isolated and protected by two vast oceans.
The fact something worked in America (and then didn't by the end of 20's) means literally nothing, it's an awful example.
>there has never been a Marxist revolution
There was but many were avoided by the fact workers got some fucking rights.

>The fact something worked in America (and then didn't by the end of 20's)
We had econimc collaspes before and none of them lead to a revolution
>There was
name one
