TRUMP ASSIGNED PRO COMMON CORE BITCH WILL PUSH COMMON CORE UNDER DIFFERENT NAME
>DeVos met with Trump on Saturday in New Jersey, and the president-elect’s team said that the conversation “focused on the Common Core mission, and setting higher national standards and promoting the growth of school choice across the nation,”according to Education Week.

>and the president-elect’s team said
Isn't this just "sources said"?
No names, no credibility
As I said at the previous thread, this is something the media is making up.
> DeVos, 58, has not said much about the Common Core, (...) But she has ties to several pro-Common Core organizations, including as a member of the board of the Foundation for Excellence in Education, started by former Florida governor and Republican presidential contender Jeb Bush.
How it goes from "member of an organization that supports common core" to be "pro common core" is the same broad brush the media does to paint us mongolian flying fishing picture board dwellers with the "alt right".
IN CASE YOU GUYS MISSED: MEDIA IS TELLING SHE IS PRO COMMON CORE, NOT HERSELF AND CERTAINLY NOT TRUMP.
> Family donated to Clinton Foundation Don't know if Trump donated specifically to the CF but he mentioned at the primaries he had to grease a few palms to move things in NY, including Clintons.
Having someone in the family to do the same is not disqualifying

Also, there is one important common theme in most of the flak Trump is getting BEFORE he goes from President Elect to President:
HE IS ABSOLUTELY FOR STATES RIGHTS
Again, he is a strict states rights "politician" (he is not a political but my point stands).
The United States was founded on the following principle:
> The federal government is responsible for
> International Trade > Defense > Border control > Resolution of interstate matter
Everything else (per 9th and 10th amendment) is up to the states and, ultimately, to the people.
Now, look at Trumps proposals:
> Wall (border) > Vets (defence) > NAFTA, TPP and other deals (trade) > Consolidation of media groups (interstate commerce)
And the things he wants the federal government out of it:
> repealing Obamacare (strictly state matter) > making education local again and ending common core (strictly state matter) > overruling roe v. wade (strictly state matter) > repealing federal regulations on numerous things (strictly state matter) > ending gun restrictions (things both states and federal government strictly forbidden)
They called Obama a "constitutional scholar" but Trump is the strict constitutionalist. As the HuffPo cover had "Trump wants to interpret the constitution as it was written" or something to the effect.
Trump's appointments are irrelevant for his policies, his relationship with the congress and senate is what's relevant.
He will repeal whatever executive order Obama left in place and then will try to get Congress to pass his agenda (what they already indicated they will).
Cabinet positions are a fine talking point but they get appointed and fired as easily as Campaign Manager and, as you all guys know, Trump is no shy about firing people.
Trust the message, trust the messenger. Don't fall for the shills
Ignore the pic, it is that protester in Arizona. Still on my head, living rent free lol

>OK SHES ON THE BOARD OF FOUNDAITON FOUNDED BY JEB BUSH AND SPONSORED BY BILL GATES
Jeb Bush was the governor of Florida, it doesn't mean every single of his former employees (public or private) has an agenda. Same thing with Bill Gates, that has his paws in many different things
>BUT SHE HASNT BEEN OUTSPOKEN ABOUT IT
"I don't now how she thinks, hence she is Pro Common Core"
Nice Common Core logic there pal.

>Now imagine watching the news as Trump reveals in slow-motion that he’s flexible and pragmatic on just about everything. Thomas Friedman at the New York Times just reported that Trump is – as of yesterday anyway – open-minded about climate-change science, and Trump is no longer in favor of waterboarding terror suspects.
>You also watched Trump move to the middle on his immigration policies. And you watched as Trump said he plans to keep the good parts of Obamacare instead of jettisoning it whole.
>And you saw Trump say he wasn’t interested in prosecuting Clinton. Her supporters were worried that Trump was going to go full-dictator and jail his adversaries. That won’t happen, apparently.
>And Trump also told the New York Times that they don’t need to worry about changes in libel laws. That means it will not become easier for people such as Trump to sue them out of business. That was one of the possibilities that scared people.
>The areas in which Trump hasn’t budged in his opinion seem to be where states’ rights are involved. Trump would leave it to the courts and to the states to decide on abortion, legal marijuana, and gay marriage. You might not like the fact that Trump wants the federal government to stay out of those decisions, but it isn’t very dictator-like to leave big decisions to the states.

Carson is pretty much a sealed deal now. Mattis, I don't see how he could be snubbed for SoD after Trum praised him to heaven and back. I suppose Trum is still baiting Neocons into Trump Tower to make them suck his dick a little more, thinking they might get the post.

I don't think he was willing to work in a health related position. He's a retired doctor, remember, and probably doesn't want to work in any form of medicine for now. HUD? He gets to do something fresh that he's passionate about and gets to help people who grew up like him. He is much better served in that position.

I agree, my take is that they do it for free, CtR was at least polite and professional.
I have a theory
1) media launched an all out attack on a strawman created to tar the whole "alt right" as deplorables 2) the usual "Open Society Foundation" media arms (used to be CtR, now they must have named themselves something else) try to disrupt the internet fairgrounds where Trump supporters organize
alternative 2) Stormfront try to "take back" Sup Forums for its name recognition
Either way they fail at noticing that
1) it's pissing in an ocean of piss 2) we get even more united when there is an external enemy
Matthew Howard
