Metal is definitely an acquired taste, but I really like how it explores soundscapes never created before, forever pushing the boundaries of music. Aside from jazz, no other genre comes close to its complexity and technicality.

I like metal. Sabbath is my favorite band and I enjoy some metal.

That being said and I know music is subjective. Black metal not only doesn't sound good the aesthetics of metal is gay as fuck. Punk sounds like shit and everyone who likes punk agrees but thats part of punk. If you try to like something more you'll end up probably liking it more.

Ireland produces the best music.

Classical music isn't even that technical. Really well composed, but not really that difficult to play on the whole (source: I play brass and piano).

1970s rock music was also very technical, and had a great influence on metal.

Technicality doesn't mean its good, but I would have a live musician who can play irregular time signatures and polyrhythms any day over a computer playing the same loop over and over again

For a small country Ireland has actually done alright.
