Do you guys think uni wouldn't be as much of a shithole if uniforms were required?
Do you guys think uni wouldn't be as much of a shithole if uniforms were required?
I think it would be less of a shithole if retarded social "science" (protip: not science) students like you weren't admitted.
Liberal Arts is basically barista studies. Leave the scholarships, research grants and professorships to people with actual STEM intellect. Go do an online course if you want to learn something useless like sociology or English.
For sure
What do you mean like me?
Does your retarded idea count Law as a social science, AKA useless?
Fuck majors like gender research and similar branches but sociology, law, philosophy and history are just as important as STEM based majors. They are the fabric of a functioning society.
What about classics like Ancient Greek/Latin?
Law is a profession faggot, not a social science.
I went to college to learn a skill I could make a living off of. Instead I got pressed into mandatory Liberal arts shit, philosophy, African + Israeli history, gender studies, art history and all kinds of other bullshit I've already forgotten. I shouldn't fucking need to learn about primitive Nigerian Potato farming techniques for a quarter of a semester when I wanted major in Programming or Biology.
When you dress up a monkey, it's still a monkey.
Forgot to add
Just let people go to college for what they're interested in rather then forcing them to take bullshit classes if they want a degree.
it's not fucking Hogwart's
you can't create or even interpret a single code without knowing why there are laws in the first place and researching their legitimacy over people etc.
The whole system is not about shouting big words at the court, you know.
What about history, religion, philosophy, literature and so on?
if the right did not have people who majored in that then left would have taken over long ago and hillary would be president right now
funny how no one ever talks about business degrees, which need the inspiration and awarrness taught by social sciences
its only "muh science" to try to make themselves sound cool when in fact there is a glut of overage engineers in a world where shit is so complex its going to take years to get to the cutting edge
trades are still needed
and the next field is data collection and analysis, and then puting it into consumable pieces people with little time can understand
Why are they wearing capes? Is that Harry Potter or something?
Capes look cool
I'm currently learning a skill at uni although my gf is doing gender studies for her masters, currently in deep stealth with my power level.
>potatos
>biology
>business side of mass production farming, mechanics , international trade, understanding why nigeria is a war zone that influences other conflicts and organized crime around the world
Apparently it's a Portuguese tradition
...
Harry Potter copied them
Universities are not needed. There, solved the problem.
IIRC it's only on special days where they wear it.
Philosophy is the only one of those worth a damn in the US.
If you're a real Chinese and not a proxyfag, Google "law school scam" to learn more.
>Chinese
>Law
Most overrated shit degree on planet earth.
t. UCONN law school grad
>Chinese
You could use a geography lesson.
not necessarely. most people just wear them on special occasions and university activies and whatnot, yes, but you're perfectly allowed to wear the thing everyday if you want to, and quite a few people do.
Probably not but it'd help. Universities are a shit hole because for most people it's the first time away from their parents and they think it's perfectly fine to spend (tax payer) money on alcohol and drugs, and they like to sleep around.
If people actually treated universities like an institution of education rather than a day care for young adults, then maybe they wouldn't be such a shit hole. Even the academics at universities treat it like an adult day care.
Is being short and ugly a portuguese tradition too?
it would be more anime.
>UCONN
You always wear capes to your graduation. I assume American universities are the same.
if he's throwing English into a fucking social science then yeah, you guys are cunted too, I'm STEM and half of the guys are fucking terrible at writing. We need more English teachers.
Drachenlord pls
J.K Rowling was in portugal for a while I believe, where wearing capes on the day of your graduation is common practice, so I assume that's where she got the idea, unless it's common practice everywhere
>Drachenlord
Would probably helop
>I went to college to learn a skill I could make a living off of
You should have gone to a trade school then.
