Oh here's a fucking gem. 3 days before new years eve were told that if we work new years eve we come in earlier and we will get off before 11pm so we can be with family. Fuck happens and we have to do overtime. THE FUCKING MOM'S BITCH TO THE SUPERVISORS AND THEY GET LET GO EARLIER. Us guys didn't know until the next day. Caught them lying about when they left.

the only wage gap that I agree with is the fact that a man is way more likely to be manager of the stores I shop at, as well as almost any business. In a muffler shop, it's defensible. In the grocery store, it is simply sexism or racism when the manager is always a white male.
Having said that, I'm amazed that nobody uses the following iron-clad argument against the "average 80 cents to the male's dollar" claim.
1. huge organizations like wal-mart and General Electric simply cannot pay women 80 cents for the same job. the lawsuit would be swift and easy.
2. So, to get an average of 80 cents, that means there are lots of women out threre making 50 or 60 cents to the dollar. WHERE IS THIS HAPPENING AND WHY AREN'T THE LAWYERS going full pro-bono and getting filthy rich off another slam-dunk lawsuit?
Bottom line: the 80 cent claim is a lie.
