Gun Control

It works in the sense that it can eliminate gun crime, but criminals will find other ways to murder their rivals/victims. States with less gun control tend to have lower rates of crime, this is because it increases the risk a criminal must take to commit crime, thus discouraging criminal behavior as a whole. Bearing arms is a constitutionally guaranteed right for American citizens and gun control is an attempt by authoritarians and the federal government to infringe upon that right.

Guns are completely outlawed here in Mexico. And in most of latinamerica. Somehow criminals get their hands on a shit ton of gear. Go figure. Meanwhile lawful citizens can't do shit.

Yeah that seems like the main problem, upstanding citizens can't get their hands on guns to defend themselves but criminals can through the black market and other routes that aren't legal (obviously).

Absolutely. An uncontrolled gun generally doesn't hit where you want it to. I use two hands to control the gun. I've found it greatly improves the accuracy of my shots.

Brazil is a case study for what happens when your citizens don't have guns. That's your answer.
