Hi-Fi thread

It brings me really sad vibes. Maybe mid-level technology will rise again someday, when all kikes will be gassed and all muds are wrapped in pig skins.

I was fooled by Betamax

There was an attempt to lure russians to Hi8 format. Not one soul switched. VHS FTW.

By the way, real Soviet VHS player. One of many. Electronica VMTs 8220.

VM12, first Soviet VHS player/recorder. Clone of Panasonic's epic NV 2000.

Russians never get DVD. VHS still best option.

Well I love my modern camera but it doesn't look as badass as the older stuff. However back in the day there was cheap stuff as well, however most of it didn't survive.

I am kind of expecting my modern stuff checking out any moment but after five years of rugged use it still works well.

Wtf are you talking about, I got VHS, CD, DVD and Blu-Ray players. We got same stuff like the rest of the world. With a bit higher prices tho.

Yeah I remember when things were designed to give the customer the best experience for as long as possible... even the lower range stuff would last for ages

these days things are designed to meet the minimum requirements as cheaply as possible... and break a few days after the warranty expires!
people don't seem to care that expensive shit is considered disposable nowadays, like kids being brainwashed into buying a new phone every 2 years
