I think what you should fear is not Antifa or other useful idiots, but the people higher in the structure. Many of them are in positions of incredible power and influence. Think of Bezos controlling the Washington Post, or Zuckerberg implementing 'Fake News' filtering algorithms on Facebook.

The main problem is not the potential for violence (though of course there will be some violence). The main problem is confusion of the perception of reality with manipulated information. People will not act if they are being presented with conflicting and untrustworthy information. This is precisely how Russia succeeded in seizing much of eastern Ukraine. They made reality so confusing that people with the capability to stop them were paralyzed into inaction because of the uncertainty they faced.

Right now this is happening in real time in the United States. Fake narratives are being spammed out on a daily basis. Real information is being suppressed or clouded in doubt. People who can conceivably act in a way to change the future are so full of uncertainty about what is true and what is false that they sit idle waiting for new, clearer information that never materializes.

While good people stay idle, mid-level organizations like BAMN can continue to insinuate themselves into positions of power and influence and work to undermine government and civil institutions from within. Antifa is only one minor tool in their arsenal. The media is another tool, one of many. The legal system and legal precedent is another tool. It's a long war for them. A multi-generational war. They intend to use the systems that western society has built against us, to co-opt it and mold it to be their instrument.

Conservative-minded people are so focused on their work and their lives that they don't think of the possibility of such a war. Eventually so much progressive ideology will be built into the laws that govern our societies that even formulating opposing policies will be illegal, and conservative-minded people are compelled by their nature to obey laws and maintain systems, even if those laws and systems are strangling them.

What you can do to counter the threat is to steal their weapons from them and use them against them.

I don't believe there will be a violent revolution. Violence is merely one tool the left uses to apply pressure to civil and government structures and break down opposition. The threat of violence and property damage causes venues to cancel or outright refuse permits for right-wing rallies or speakers, silencing the opposition and preventing them from achieving mass consciousness. It has a chilling effect on local discourse, as people will be fearful to speak their beliefs in a community where leftist thugs like Antifa could target them.

The revolution will not be a violent one like the French revolution. It will be closer to that of the rise of Hitler, where subversion of existing democratic structures preceded the rise of the new regime, which subsequently destroyed those structures systematically as to prevent the new regime's legal removal.

Newspapers and news networks were being relegated to dinosaur status, but now new partnerships with Facebook, Google, and other major aggregators will remove or discredit any independent media opposition. We need to clearly understand what the goals of leftist street violence are while formulating our counters. The recent Boston free speech rally was an excellent example of how to counter this tactic. Unmasked citizens of all ages and demographics participating in a peaceful rally and march, specifically promoting American values of free speech and patriotism.

Such efforts should not be a primary focus, but they cannot be ignored lest the ground be ceded to the enemy entirely and speaking of such ideals in public becomes impossible.
