what do you guys think would happen if trotsky became the leader of the ussr instead of stalin?
Trotsky
WWII would he been to fight communism and fascist ideas would seen like socialist ideas today.
Communism would have failed anyway
Lev Davidovich Bronstein was the author of Permanent Revolution. In which he states that ALL countries must become socialist, and only then we can achieve communism. So, I suspect that Lev Davidovich would have certainly pushed for the policy of total world socialisation in which USSR would essentially merge with the rest of the countries and cease to exist.
Permanent Revolution was a better path to pursue than Socialism in One Country, but either way, the revolution still probably would have failed to take off in the advanced capitalist countries and the USSR would become a bureaucratic, degenerate hellhole.
The exact same thing: internal genocides, economic stagnation, slave labor, and ultimate failure.
Chicken wings for everyone.
infinite kikery.
Economically, the USSR would have been something similar to what Stalin did(planned industrialization)
kek
Pretty much this. The only diff might of been that trosky wasn't a fucking paranoid schizophrenic. So he probably wouldn't have killed have his officers and nco corp on thoughts and muh feels. So literally this pretty much. Just a lesser of two evils scenario.
Would have been assassinated by someone who wasn't a numale faggot.
I still recall when the neo-cons started using his playbook. Right wing commies was what they were and that's the exact school of thought they all follow, while Marxist and Lenninist follow and even worse idea.
So if:
Trotskyism (-R)
Leninism (-D)
and
Marxism (even gayer -D)
were to join forces then would they be the Marx Brothers?
Comunism doesnt work man
Ancap will prevail
This
Probably would have collapsed the ussr in the 30
This subject is adressed by Albert Camus in his book "The Rebel".
Longstory short nothing would have changed because by the time either Trotsky or Stalin were contesting the throne the rules had been laid out by Lenin.
The Marxist vision was too idealistic/fantastic to be translated literally so Lenin took the time to write a few books that would do this. Essentially laying down the Totalitarian State that would become the USSR.
The USSR was not Communist, it was Leninist, and this had been established long before Stalin and Trotsky contested command. The idea oh "muh the USSR was shit because of Stalin" is a bad meme.
Pls leave commie.
Europe would be free of german vermin
>Trotsky
Please stop using this fake name. His real name was (((Lyev Bronstein)))
I had no idea Camus wrote a book about the Bolsheviks. Is it any good?
It would have to be put down.
Did you even read my comment?
this
>trotsky uses ussr to invade europe and force communism on everyone
>europe joins together to remove communism
>usa helps europe
>no muh 6 gorrilion
>jew look bad while the western world looks good
That's Colonel Sanders fucking nigger
Polish-Soviet War ended pretty much any discussion in USSR of exporting the revolution. It would've probably ended pretty much the same regardless.
It´s not only about the bolsheviks, it´s a philosopical essay on the topic of "revolution". The most interesting part of the book is the section "The Historic Revolution" where he goes one by one trough each major revolt in history and draws parallels. Concluding that they are all deemed to fail in translating their ideas to reality.
And it´s a kickass book but you need to be philosophically savy. Quotes about a hundred of other authors/philosophers.
Stalin still wanted to export it but his regime was a bit different. There's something incredibly creepy about early Bolshevik rule. Like it was full on internationalist movement. Stalin was more of a standard dictator but he did have plans of conquest he just never finished them. He got half of Europe though.
