Missed opportunity to have a Purple Evil Trunks and Purple Evil Goten, and after a fight a Purple Evil Gotenks, which would be defeated. Then Goku and Vegeta come to save the day but the kids already dealt with the problem.

Goten and Trunks went to another planet with Monaka, and after some silly stuff some bad guys put their hand on some evil magical water. Then Vegeta came in, save the day, but the evil water makes a copy of him, implied to be stronger than he is.

I don't think it's stronger it just took all of Veggie's power so he's at 0

Well, if it took all of Veggie's power, then it's stronger than Veggie by default.

Let's assume it doesn't know how to perform any of Veggie's technique and transformation, does anyone think Gotenks even SSJ3 can defeat Evil Purple Base Vegeta?

The whole tourtnament thing end up being retarded. The new charcaters look horrible, Giku acts even more stupid than when he was a kid in DB, animation its terrible and finally a Dark Goku being the next villain is literally Devinart type of retarded

Doubt he's as strong as Vegeta, let alone stronger. Vegeta is just exhausted by it which is why he can't fight it. Goku will just come down, go SSJ, and kill it, then Vegeta will be even more angry.

That or Vegeta is doing all this on purpose because he wants to see how he'd fare vs Goku but that's way too complicated writing for Super.

Not only that but the water couldn't even go SSJ because in order to SS in the first place you have to be S. This is smart water and doesn't have the kai.

I stopped caring about this after the super saiyan god transformation. It is absolutely ridiculous how easy it is for the transformation and power of this level to be obtained. 6 righteous people perform a ritual and POOF you can go from being totally untrained Raditz tier to way stronger than a super saiyan 3. All you have to do is be "righteous"

In fact this new DBZ is so incredibly bad that I actually don't even accept it as canon. When the creator blunders this bad you kind of want to pull a dragonball GT and pretend this whole thing never happened

No SSJ Evil Veg they should be able to beat if he is dumb as a rock.

Vegeta never went SSG, but I think SSB is said to be stronger than SSG and all you have to do is get perfect control over your ki.
No clue if it stronger than SSG, though. It did nothing impressive, and then Goku had to multiply by it 10 to be worth a damn.

SSB is just SS with God Ki. In other words, he pulled God Ki out of his ass by training.

Because the power levels in super are super fucked. Goku's transformations have to buff him to be worth a damn, but they can't buff him much because he'd be stronger than Beerus. So you get a base form, Super Saiyan, and SSB, all which are an unspecified amount stronger than each other, but ultimately not much stronger at all, because they had the good sense to add a x10 buff into the clusterfuck.

Toriyama's refusal to admit Goku being stronger than Beerus is baffling.
All DB characters fade into obscurity. I was fully ready for Hit to be placed on top of the totem pole, especially after taking hits from SSB w/ Kiaoken x10, but nope. Champa says he's stronger, so he totally must be.

Purple vegeta will be taken out by Vegeta ascending.

As for the future arc, can't wait. First time in so many years have been this excited for a new arc.

That just reminds me Baby Vegeta. The red eyes, those eyeslines, that attitude. Even the faces of those evil aliens seems from someone from GT, probably one of the star dragons.
But they are really out of ideas when they start with clones or "Black Gokus". And these fillers on fillers should be just about the kids, no Goku or Vegeta, but no, that can't happen.

A while ago, somebody uploaded scans of the DB full color manga for the entire saiyan saga.

They were really high resolution and hogh quality and seem to be ripped from a digital release from Viz rather then actual scans of the physiical volumes.

Was wondering if anybody knew how this was done, what the source was, or who the releasers were to see if they did more.
