Chrollo is such a fuckboy, the moment his pretty head is out in the open he is dead. That's the difference in power between the two. Chrollo needs the prep time, Chrollo needs this cat and mouse game. Hisoka is just wrecking anything that tries to get near. It's really fucking clear that based on power alone he could kill him and them some. But the fights in HxH are not just about force as the guy in your gif knows well and Chrollo still has the assbook to pull any skill from giving him advantage.

Is this your first Shounen series? The underdog who has the odds stacked against him snatching victory from the jaws of defeat? That trope is played to death in this genre.
