because the VN is really really good and has spin-offs for everyone.

Wide variety of waifus, edge, gains the "muh deep animu" group with "muh ideals". Endless extra content satisfying all other needs like maho shojo. Succesfully achieved the ultimate female design with Saber. And finally, the most genius premise, who doesn't like legendary figures fighting each other in a battle royale?

I'm just curious about how many casual fans realize it's a lewd VN. I wonder how they react when they find out.

Makai Tensei does the resurrection thing way better, and it's a full-fledged novel.

Because it's one of the few gook series that actually put the effort into building an interesting story and lore, has good characters, and isn't littered with plot holes and filler.

You mean secondaries? Becuase I can't imagine that even the people who read Realta Nua aren't at least aware of the existence of the lewd.

Nasu's scenes are part of the charm, I'm not sure if it's mirrormoon's tl that makes them so hilarious though. Wonder if they post Nasu's literary gems of erotica on 2ch.

You're kidding right? Watching Fate/Zero and Stay night left a bad taste in my mouth and almost turned me of anime.

The sheer level of circular arguments and sophistry that fills every episode is mind numbing. It's an anime about the greatest heroes of all time coming together to battle for the holy grail and yet they just stand around bitching. It was like watching DBZ all over again, except it was shit.

Nips have horrible taste. We did get Prisma Ilya out of the franchise, but the nips don't care much for that.

STOP
WATCHING
FATE/STAY NIGHT
ANIME
READ
THE
VN

Nigga I ain't reading no VN about the Arthurian legend. Shit is boring as fuck and it's been done over and over again.

>watching F/Z first

You deserve it

But the vn is awful

then stop bitching about shitty adaptations.

>VN is really really good

He's bitching about the dialogue and you're telling him to go read more dialogue?

maybe when it gets a better translation, which is never

>nips
>good taste
Choose one. Now you have your answer

Fuck you, you can't make me. It's my right as a human being to bitch about pieces of entertainment that fail to fully meet my expectations.

Why is Jojo one of the most beloved franchises in Japan?

What about this isn't awesome?

youtube.com/watch?v=ghhC7V6Kuk8

Because Nasu doesn't create story. He creates a world which contains infinity of possible stories. That's why we never run out of discussions.

Because it's creative, unlike Fate

/thread

>beloved franchises in Japan
>beloved

It was literally the first good manga series.

Because it's unique, over the top and self-aware. It's split into completely different parts, preventing it from reaching Naruto and Bleach levels of idiocy. Stands are also the most genius battle system ever.

That's a four minute video and they stop repeatedly to spout nonsensical rhetoric at each other.

This is a classic example of an anime reaching for depth that it cannot support with story alone.

The premise and the opening was really good.
Until they removed rin as mc and shoehorned shitrou there.
It doesnt help that being the male mc in a typical japanese game/anime bends the girls' wills and gravitate towards him meaninglessly, which ultimately makes it shit.
If they kept it about the war instead of endlessly repeating a lame story of a faggot and then making him mary sue, it may have been really good.
The game is literally repeating his same backstory every fucking day and his constant chatting of his lame 'ideal'.

Do you even pose?

>reading a VISUAL novel
Are you retarded?

I bet you loved Mahoyo

The worst part was the fact that the fight with himself was never strong enough in the first place. By that I mean the entire arc surrounding his own self doubt left me wondering why Archer was such a faggot.

"I can't save every single soul in existence, therefore I will kill myself and doom thousands" way to fucking go champ. Good deal of sense in that.

youtube.com/watch?v=9pOwA3g4WDA

I appreciate your effort and I am not denying that there were good scenes. They just don't make up for the rest of the anime. It's like reading a book where you hate all the character arcs but one, and you keep reading because you know eventually you have to get around to the only person you like. All too soon though, you're back onto some boring fag you don't care about.

The VN isn't particularly special, I understand that it's usually people's first VN but the only part really worth reading was heaven's feel and even then the pacing in all routes is absolute shit, let me break down a day in the VN:

>Shiro gets up contemplates his struggle to be a hero for an hour then makes breakfast
>School where the only plot points are some stupid foreboding shit
>If he's past the going to school part he literally just fucks around all day and nothing happens aside from dating sim stuff
>In the evening or late night some weird crazy shit happens which either takes place outside his house or at/around shrine
>Shiro makes dinner
>repeat
>throw in some occasional info dumps from either Rin/Kirei and that's about it

JoJo is the only anime that doesn't pissed me off when it comes to asspulls.

It's fucking hilarious.

This whole fight was amazing. Jojo never feels like it's cheating you, all you can do is sit back and be impressed.

What 'dating sim' stuff?

This. Oh my god the amount of SoL and repetition kills the enjoyment, especially if you don't particularly like Shiro.

It wouldn't kill Nasu to not start every goddamn day from the morning.

>Shiro
This is kinda like calling a dude Jac when his name is Jack

Maybe he shouldn't have such a shitty name then.

Spending time with Saber in dojo, talking to Rin, outings etc.

...

>that last pic

Is it? I know they won't stop pumping out Saber figures, and I'm ok with that, but is it really beloved?

If new Fate stuff comes out faster than you can post on Sup Forums, then yes.

It has Saber

...

>"I can't save every single soul in existence, therefore I will kill myself and doom thousands"
Good work completely missing the point of Archer's problem, retard.

If you'd like to express the dilemma of his royal edginess go ahead. Dude got what he wanted and later realised his ideal was exactly that, an ideal. His was the most boring of characters in the whole series.

It's not about the inability of saving people.
It's the fact that his job isn't actually helping people directly, but just MURDER MURDER MURDER.

It's the top Visual Novel in Japan.

His problem being he couldn't save everyone because he had to kill to do it. It was moronic to become petulant and distraught when you realise that making weapons and using them isn't the key to greater peace. Shirou/Archer was a dumb fucking character to begin with. His foster dad, while edgy as fuck, was far better.

>Zero baby

Ah, everything makes sense now.

because elevens have shit taste

I'm bored so I'll bite. Stay night was shithouse. Zero was better and had more realistic and adult themes. Both weren't anything special outside of the casting for the dub.

When your ideal is saving everybody (an ideal to which Shirou is able to occasionally compromise on), but what you're constantly forced to do is compromise without the saving part, it's no wonder you end up a jaded angry and resentful person. Worse when the shitty situation you have been put in, is ultimately your own fault.
Then you get to meet your old, idealistic self, no wonders you want to strangle that naive retard.

Yes, Kerry wouldn't have got any problems sharing EMIYA fate, but Kerry is also a less human character, and frankly a lot less interesting.

>Zero was better and had more realistic and adult themes

Name one of those themes. The how to rule "discussion"? Kiritsugu's manchildren struggle? How to realize your cuck fantasy starring kariya?

Different folks, different strokes. I won't deny Archer his reasons for being angsty. It just amazed me that Shirou and Archer both managed to be so different and yet both so unlikeable.

I said the themes were more realistic and adult. I didn't say they were master pieces of plot and storytelling. It's not an anime I'd recommend to anyone for the plot.

>How to realize your cuck fantasy starring kariya?

You should be a comedian

Again, name one theme that is a bit realistic OR mature.

How about devoting yourself to someone who has given you purpose. The desperate sacrifice of one's life for vengeance. Or even the dialogue between Rider and four eyes. Where a scared little bitch learns to stand on his own two feet, such that he can stand up to even Gilgamesh himself?

Stay night had the depth of a crush plastic cup my comparison.

>How about devoting yourself to someone who has given you purpose. The desperate sacrifice of one's life for vengeance.

Something done 1000+ times already. The lack of justification and development of the theme doesn't make it realistic .
> Where a scared little bitch learns to stand on his own two feet, such that he can stand up to even Gilgamesh himself?
And that's realistic or mature because?
>Stay night had the depth of a crush plastic cup my comparison.

It baffles me how the average anime fan can't understand the plot of a porn game.

>and thats how you found a 12 yrs old in a +18 website
Kill yourself, dipshit.

>how dare you say bad things about the VN
Man, what a fanbase.

To be fair Waver and kirei are the best zero characters and the last one still has his best scene at the end of stay night when you understand why he wants to awake angra.

The themes in stay night are ok really the real problem is that you need to see the novel as a whole and not only as 3 different routes in a vn so in the end the adaptations never are going to tell the whole story and develope the themes as they should.

But Makai Tensei lacked luck

Battles and stando powers are creative and unique. Rather than those typical chuuni eyes or arm powers.

What isn't creative about Gilgamesh's powers?

>have lots of weapons and shoot them at the enemy
>disguise them as legendary weapons to look less bland

>sword spam
>every NP ever

It sucks for battles and tension. Most stands have ridiculous limits and most of them are seemingly useless but Araki manages to employ them in creative ways to set the scene and create fights that have you on the edge of your seat.

why is GuP so incredibly successful in Japan?

>interest in military stuff is high
>cute girls doing ___
>crazy action
>diverse and likeable cast

I didn't watch it, but mix of tanks and cute girls already sounds amazing.

So sort of like Wheel of Time with Mat?

That's Muv Luv

Kariya's MO really does read like /r9k/ fanfic.

>My woman was taken by that evil chad even though I'm such a gentlemen. I'll join this competition, kick his ass at his own game and save her daughter, that way she'll love me and jump my dick. I'd be a way better father to her as well.

Hey now, Rand had some good scenes

is that from the remastered deen version airing now?

>S-Sorry S-Shirou about muh muscular build
>Is just as much of a waif as every other female character

U wot

because they love shit?
come on, is not that hard.

By otaku

tbf, Kariya isn't the one-dimensional selfish cuck everyone makes him out to be.
He gave up on Aoi, because he didn't want her to end up like worm food (like his mother did).

also later on he had his brain literally eaten out by worms, which tends to fuck up someone's judgement and logical thinking a tiiiny bit.
things like that tends to fuck you up

This. Fate/Accel event had him saner because he wasn't at last stages of being wormfood and gave his hand to save Sakura and realizes killing Tokiomi wouldn't help any. Iskandar made him sure for his men to take him to the hospital, so he'll live and Sakura will have a caretaker. He went off the deep end when he was slowly eaten by worms.
