>February 28 in Shinka 21 (1946), presumably at the Ikuta Labs Satomi and Magotake discuss the weird Little Boy they found, and why the American's ultimate superweapon did not destroy Hiroshima. Satomi theorizes that the weapon did work. >June in Shinka 49 (1974), Shinjuku Nana Maria, former IQ vigilante, is on the run, hunted by the Imperial Advertisement Agency. She is caught, and a power amplifier helmet is put over her head. Megasshin and Shirota coerce Jiro into revealing what Raito is up to. Raito and Aki are blowing up bridges to stop the new American superweapon, the NUTS. They are hindered by Megasshin from destroying the blue NUTS, who is activated by Michiko. Before Michiko can unleash the full arsenal of NUTS upon giant Aki, Raito manages a lucky hit on the back, causing the NUTS to leak highly dangerous fuel. The fuel turns out to be the molecular fission liquid that the Biodestroyer Bot used against the Eternal Family. That liquid also harms Aki, who is saved just in time by Shirota. The leaking fuel causes a terrible ecological disaster, which the Bureau investigates. Jiro comes under harsh critique by the more law-abiding superhumans, who reprimand him for not doing anything against the violent superhumans who work with him. Judas reveals that he used Jiro's blood to augment Aki, and uses it to heal her from the terrible wounds. Also, Jiro's blood is responsible for causing giant monstrous mutations in harmless animals, turning them into kaijuus. Premier-minister Tachibana tries to force Imperial Ads to spin the disaster in a good way, but they sever all ties with him, revealing to the public the secret deals he made with Master Ultima. Satomi plans the final steps to his great plans, a world without superhumans, which does unhinge Michiko. She is then contacted by Fuurouta, who brings her to Jiro's hideout to discuss the power amplifier helmet. When Jiro puts it on to test it, a flashback to the past commences, up to the year Shinka 21.
Kevin Foster
What a good episode, seems like we're already starting to kick it into the endgame. A bit sad to see that the Jiro-league can't seem to come together on a single thing since they're much more likable than the Bureau.
Hype for Super Equus next episode.
