Theres really no "prize" factor for Accelerator or Hamazura. Accelerator will either end up with a clone, Estelle, or with a family. There's no race to win him. Hamazura is spoken for and there was really no contest for him either.

In short I think Touma shipping is more about "winning" and being the main MC
