Can someone explain the Romanian clay meme to me? Googling doesn't fucking help and I want to know about euro history.
Romania
Moldova is NOT Romanian clay.

You need to explain further fellow American. My smooth brain struggles.
You're right, it's mostly Russian clay.
Basically, throughout history, Romania and Moldova were neighbors, often ruled by relatives, Stefan Cel Mare, and Vlad Dracula, for example.
In 1918 they United until 1941, amd then split back up.
Now Romania is trying to rewrite history, by claiming they were always one, pushing a "unification", which will never happen, simply because Romanians consider themselves to be of a higher class and treat Moldovans as cheap labor.
If the leadership of Moldova ally with Russia, even to the point of unification, it would only be a good thing for the citizens of that poor landlocked country.
...
But where does the magyar clay come into play. Thank you for enlightening me though.
Hungary is a relatively new country, I guess.
Ah, that's about Transylvania.
