Can someone explain the Romanian clay meme to me? Googling doesn't fucking help and I want to know about euro history.
Romania
Moldova is NOT Romanian clay.
/thread
You need to explain further fellow American. My smooth brain struggles.
You're right, it's mostly Russian clay.
Basically, throughout history, Romania and Moldova were neighbors, often ruled by relatives, Stefan Cel Mare, and Vlad Dracula, for example.
In 1918 they United until 1941, amd then split back up.
Now Romania is trying to rewrite history, by claiming they were always one, pushing a "unification", which will never happen, simply because Romanians consider themselves to be of a higher class and treat Moldovans as cheap labor.
If the leadership of Moldova ally with Russia, even to the point of unification, it would only be a good thing for the citizens of that poor landlocked country.
...
But where does the magyar clay come into play. Thank you for enlightening me though.
Hungary is a relatively new country, I guess.
Ah, that's about Transylvania.
Pic related.
...
>simply because Romanians consider themselves to be of a higher class
That is just a wow! sentence right there
eastern Europe is just so Africa tier sometimes
Earlier today in the designated Hungarian gypsy enclave thread a lot of romanians were posting but refused to actually type hungary or hungarian. They always censored it via hung*ry or hung*rian.
Is there some sort of internet filter in play here they are trying to avoid or what the fuck is the point of doing this.
They considered themselves to be of "nobility", and would treat Moldovans (who were cleansed of all all nobility by communists) as peasants.

Nice one
The Kingdom of Hungary at its height encompassed the Carpathians and Transylvania, but largely did so as part of Austria-Hungary. Unfortunately, like a lot of other diplomatic powder-kegs that the WW1 armistice created, the Trianon treaty essentially treated Hungary as literally worse than Kaiser Wilhelm, and vivisected Hungary for no real reason.
Hitler, seeking to get closer ties with Hungary and greater direct control over Romania and its oil fields, bullied Romania into handing over half it's territory to Hungary
That's right, kiss up to him bozgorboi.
thank you noble pol scholar.
explain why you guys censor yourselves like this please.
I don't know, I don't do it.

No you fucking newfaggot it started on Sup Forums ages ago with turks posting k*rds
Yeah only a 1000 years old.
For 1,000 years Hungary ruled over the Carpathian Mountains and Basin. In WW1, Hungary was divided and almost three fucking quarters of it were taken away. Even now, there are large Magyar enclaves in Slovakia, Serbia, and Romania. Imagine 3/4 of your country gone, and those citizens stuck in those neighboring countries almost being ethnically cleansed, harassed, and generally oppressed.
>half its territory
lol
just a tiny bit of Northern Transylvania
I can: Mexico. Sameshit is same.
