Death Tax
YES. All unearned wealth should be taxed (and generally is). Inheritance is taxed now. Welfare is taxed in the UK. Yes, tax is deducted from your benefit payments.
No one is going to abolish inheritance tax. The only question is what's the appropriate amount to tax it at. I'd allow a tax free amount and then tax the rest at at least 60%.
Leafs pay inheritance tax too, spastic.
There's nothing commie about it. It's an inherently conservative policy - wealth accumulation is bad for society - and always has been.
Socialist states tax *income* at high rates. The alternative is to tax wealth. If you tax wealth, you encourage spending, i.e. consumption and investment, as a way to avoid tax = good for the economy.
Why do you think Trump is trying to repatriate all the offshored wealth of big US companies by *lowering corporate tax rates*?
No one is suggesting you shouldn't be able to ensure your child's security. But no child needs millions or billions of dollars to be secure - total fucking strawman. You talk like inheritance tax is a Marxist policy when just about every western country does it.
Fucking dumbass...
spending doesn't grow the economy dumb-ass, only stupid politicians believe that
savings is the the foundation to wealth creation, if you destroy savings every time someone dies you will stunt society
That's probably why your gay country has no Google, Apple, Twitter, etc..
Fun Fact: If you leave America permanently, or give up your citizenship they TAX YOUR MONEY as if you died. So there's no leaving, taking your money, and telling Uncle Jew to go fuck himself.
Tell me again how I'm "free" and not treated like property?
If you know that you're going to be rich when your parents die, why work hard to become a productive member of society?
How can they stop someone from taking all their money out in wads of cash and handing it to their next of kin? It doesn't seem enforceable.
