That just looks ugly, though. The difficulty with anime is trying to find a point between making them look hideous and making them look attractive. Most anime girls intended to look 'average' wind up looking good. When you start deforming facial features and making them fat, you get ugly girls.

Because he's the main character of a harem anime.
