BG a best.

Soon.

So it's pretty much confirmed that this is the long awaited main villain right?

What kind of bad guy do you think he will be? Pure evil or just misguided?

Endgame right here, brothers.

He looks pretty hot. Aizen vibes.

The Taybars will be the first ones to get reminded, the worst kind of scum, not even BRA deserve a worse fate than them

...

my thoughts exactly. It's clear that Isayama understands that at this point he needs to save the cast. He completely threw Monkey Trouble under the bus, threw BRA under the bus, Porco is a weak addition so bringing an Aizen was his only option.

BTFO Mrs Smith, Mrs Braun is in town

You seem smart, user.
Who do you think will definitely die by the end of this?

I thought I was getting memed on until I checked
I think that might just be the Marleyan emblem though, considering there are seven prongs for seven Titans and all.

There's no such thing as villain. How many times does Isayama have to repeat that?

7 leaves = 7 titans.

Seriously. The reveal was so disappointing. Same as Ymir and Bert's deaths. It was all so abrupt and out of left field. It feels like he's run out of ideas and wants to wrap things up as soon as possible. Did he not have something prepared for what was in the basement from the start or did he have to change it for some reason?

You're at the club and these two dykes slap your girlfriend's ass. What do you do?

I think you just got your hopes up way too much. The reveal was absolutely 10/10 to me, there's nothing that could ever top it in my eyes, and there's nothing wrong with Bert and Ymir's death as far as I can tell.

Same ending planned since the start of the seriarization.

Reiner, porco, manlet and Monkey trouble all have massive deathflags.

>Reiner looking backwards in the middle panel
It's the little things.

Pork is dumb.

Real endgame right here

I hate to say it but Porky is actually a QT.

I agree with everyone but Porco and Manlet.

Galliard is the best out of the new cast, aside from potentially Falco but as of yet he's my favorite from the Marley side. Excluding Reiner who had prior bias.

"pshh Nothing personnel, kid"

nghgnnnn cute

...

>sephiroth looking fucker

He's gonna rape manlet isnt he? Fujobux incoming

I don't know. Maybe it just happened too fast for me (I did pick up the manga back after a couple years). It's not like it was bad per se, but now it feels like the story has no more mysteries to it. I don't mind Ymir being a red herring but she basically died on the way back to her homeplanet. Hopefully if Porco gets to meet Historia something interesting will happen. And Zeke feels nothing like MT was introduced to be.

Wake up from my dream where I have a girlfriend and go to clubs.

...

...

Woops, picked the wrong picture

...

>"AHHH HELP ME ER-"

Endgame.

He clearly had it planned from the beginning. There's so much foreshadowing for the Bert/Reiner reveal, for the "other country" reveal, for the warrior plotline...Isayama may be a hack who over-emphasizes shit characters (Ymir, Armin), but he does have a coherent storyline in place.

>It was all so abrupt and out of left field.

The Reiner/Berholdt revelation was planned out so far ahead of time though. You think it's a coincidence that the Armored Titan has blonde hair? That nobody knows where those two are from? That Reiner survived Annie crushing him? Or that Bertholdt was about to bite his hand at Utgard?

youtube.com/watch?v=TzRR6dk0XlU

There's a clear plan here. Like it or not, it's not out of left field.

>Gary stu manlet dies screaming
Oh, the tears would glorious.

Reiner also made some strange comments towards Bert and Annie during the attack on trost which made it pretty obvious

>shitlet died sometime during the timeskip
Would be even better.

He's a red herring. The manlet next to him will be the shifter.

Oh, I'm not complaining about the BRA stuff. That's fine by me and it helped shake things up a lot. But the manga as it is basically leaves the titans --the thing the series is about-- with nothing else we can know about. Before that the titans as a thing were mysterious, absurd monsters but now they're simply weapons for yet another evil government. There's nothing scary or exciting about the story anymore besides the fate of the characters. Even what was going on with Mikasa was solved with a simple comment of "titan research", even though it was kind of a big deal at the start of the manga.

I mean, besides where the titan powers really came and the warhammer titan what is there that we don't know about the world?

Is he the previous beast titan?

Read the most recent interview.

Just Grisha's old uncle or something.

No, his grandpa.

Where?

what the fuck KEK

His grandpa is behind them, this is just a whole level above speedreading when you don't even pay attention to pictures
Jesus

Iok Kujan

>Zeke uses his grandpa's glasses
Really makes you think.

Thank you.

Even as a fan of manlet i would want this, actually. One of the disappointing things about the OVA was how naturally talented he was (yes, i know its due to ackerautism now but still). I wanted to see him piss his pants while seeing a titan for the first time. And until now I want to see him knocked down a peg.

...

You talkin' to me? Who the fuck do ya think ye're talkin' to?

His paternal grandpa

...

Noice.

Those ARE his paternal grandparents right behind them, what the hell.

So they even control (part of) America.

>At first I explored emulating The Mist, but now you could say that I’m moving in a more peaceful direction, similar to Guardians of the Galaxy.
Oh fuck Eren is going to beat Tiber with a dance off.

Are you ready for the Dance Festival?

Post Zeke.

>At first I explored emulating The Mist, but now you could say that I’m moving in a more peaceful direction, similar to Guardians of the Galaxy.

Where is that translation from my love?

Probably the one linked here

...

>I’m not talking about whether Shingeki no Kyojin will have a good or bad ending - I only speak of my own attitude as the creator.

...

But thats his dad

...

How can being influenced by GotG be anything but get the manga closer to a happy ending though? I mean it's a straight up action comedy about having friends.

>peaceful
what did he mean by that?

>Himeanole
>In this corner of the world.
That's not the only movie he takes as inspiration. Also GotG is shit and only one of his phases.

I think it means he's trying to be less edgy about what he does. Like, less edge and depression just for the sake of it.

In this corner of the world explains the setting he tried to go with at first by giving us the Paradis perspective. And Himeanole to demonstrate he can justify what can be labeled as morally wrong if you take into account the life and background of whoever is committing those acts.

But the ending, the movie that he dropped the mist for, was GotG and that is a pretty silly flick.

That does make me wonder where this series is next headed. I do want a lighthearted ending for the series, or at least something that fills me with hope rather than disappointment and despair.

>But the ending
It has nothing to do with the ending, what he took out of Mist was
>But at its conclusion, it used the main character’s deep, intrinsic beliefs of what’s right to corrupt the main character himself, leading him to act in contrary ways. What the audience believed to be correct is also flipped upside-down.
Which goes back to The ending he planned from the beggining has not changed.
>I’m progressing towards the ending that had been set before

What do you think he meant as peaceful? he wanted to do something that would shock his audience at first, he wanted to let them down. Not anymore, hence he's taking this story more seriously.
I do think it'll end in a more hopeful note. All shifters will die, that's a given, but there can still be hope for others.

He'll pull a Corner ending, all Eldians will likely die at the end.

If he wanted to kill them all, he wouldn't have changed the ending.
There will be hope, maybe in the form of a baby.
Pic related.

>he wouldn't have changed the ending.
He didn't change the ending, you retard.

Just because the plot will end the same it doesn't mean the ending is going to be protrayed in the exact same way, Satan.

Wait, is Mikasa supposed to have a clan tattoo? What happened to the Asian clan? Aren't they all Eldians in the walls? Was all of this retconned?

>Aren't they all Eldians in the walls?
Nah, King Fritz took whoever wanted to come. Near the climax of Uprising after they finish the coup, it's mentioned there's a bunch of bloodlines not affected by the mind wiping. And since there's already a basis for a bunch of other bloodlines already, there's plenty of precedent. It's not just Eldians, but a majority, especially after a hundred years of interbreeding and all.

He did it. At least, the way in which it'll happen and the vision behind it. We don't know if the consequences of that will change the fate of certain characters. All we know is that he dropped the edgy act and is now going for something more "peaceful". Make of that what you will.
Exactly.

Wasn't everyone supposed to die in chapter 50 or something like that?

I wonder how he'll change mmhm.

Retirement. He stopped trying so hard to be a hero.

Also, we shouldn't be too naive about what the author tells us about his supposed plans, espaecially when he has to make shit up as he goes along.

Pretty much. I just take the series as it is and try to go along with it comfortably, and with good faith.

Same.

>He dropped the edgy act
He's been saying this same thing for two years now, it's obvious he didn't. Wouldn't be snk otherwise.
>I only speak of my own attitude as the creator, as well as differences in my methods of ensuring that the readers enjoy the series.
Isayama will be Isayama. After all this Mikasa raising a orphan in whatever place in the world is as hopeful as snk can get.

I just want something to end hopeful for the series. I couldn't take a painful end for something I've been following for so long.

Didn't Isayama say that without Levi's strenght they'd never make it?

He also wrote that mankind would never be saved without Armong, so I wouldn't take anything as a given. The situation and story will continue with or without the characters that aren't absolutely necessary.

>After all this
That's because he watched GoT and got way too excited.
No but seriously, that's just some world building to show you how fucked up Marley is and how badly Eldians that want to fight their oppressors are treated. Illustrates the state they're in quite violently, but that is what Paradis will fight.

>That thumb of Reiner
SASUGA ISAYAMA

>He also wrote that mankind would never be saved without Armong
So why do you think he's alive?

>That's because he watched GoT
He did worse before he started got a few months ago.
