It would certainly put a lot of more interesting dynamic if Sasuke was female and Sakura was male who had crush on Sasuke. Everything else could be pretty much the same. Naruto vs Sasuke fights would be much hotter tho.

This, the entire second half of the plot was motivated by Naruto's promise to Sakura to bring Sasuke back and due to their "deep friendship" during those brief months where they were teammates.

This motivation loses 100% of it's sensibility when Sasuke starts murdering innocent people and doing terrorist shit. If Naruto was just desperate for Uchiha pussy you could justify it as a love story but here it's just gay and stupid.

I feel like I would've liked Sasuke way more if he didn't have one of the most op abilities in the entire series. I get it. He lost his parents, but in context, so did like every other villain. His obsession with power could've been better if he was ACTUALLY weak.

I would've like him even more if he was actually trying to fix everything that his ancestors fucked up.

Not to mention the fact that we don't call women faggots or edgelords for being mentally and emotionally wounded. Sasuke's actions would've been given more leniency had he been a (hot) woman. He would've still been hated though.

Yeah, I don't know how anyone could care about what happens to Sasuke when he's constantly running around with "I win" abilities. Even from the beginning he has the sharingan that lets him see into the future to react to any attack and let him replicate any ability that isn't genetic. Then they expect anyone to care about adult Sasuke when he has the Susano-o that makes him totally invincible to almost every other character.

Boruto is still mostly shit, so no.
