I thought it was pretty decent though. Better than 12 episodes of shit.
The visuals were very impressive but 4 episodes feels like a cock tease.
>too new to remember the OVA period of anime
>didn't watch Macross Plus as a 4 part OVA
get>
that's especially funny to hear considering recent FLCL fuss
IT's 2017 no longer the recession, Netflix is a thriving company who is getting into the anime game, least they could do is fund a full season of a pretty good looking show.
Well they've greenlit season 2 with 8 episodes. So hopefully at the rate it's going we'll get a season 3 with 16 episodes.
A season is a season, if there's only 4 episodes in it it's a 4 episode season
also, not anime
>the best anime of the season is american
Here's hoping. Did they give a release date?

Don't really know, but probably next year.
Not anime, just like rwby, avatar, and that puppet show
Then what is "anime"?
A miserable little pile of secrets
5/5
It was originally supposed to be 12, but for whatever reason first it was announced that "Season 1 part 1" would be streamed, and then it became a season 1 with four episodes and a season 2 with eight. Perhaps some production (cough, Assassin's Creed) or marketing reasons, it's unusual for Netflix to do this.
And if my math is correct we'll have sixty four episodes two seasons after that but will take twenty years to make the one hundred and twenty eight episodes for the season after that.
It's not that they've greenlit it, 12 episodes were planned from the very beginning as the first season, just got split along the way.
Personally, I hope they finish it in the second season. There's only so much plot you can squeeze from the game. So far so good though, there've been some slow moments but it's pacing itself all right.
We've hit rock bottom.
>implying Dracula did anything wrong
So if its merican made should i watch the dub or sub?
>the dub or sub?
the dub and sub are the same thing tho
I only watched the Japanese dub because it's what HS had. Most weeb thing I've ever done in my life.
Watch the Japanese dub with English subs
Not anime, fuck off.
Allucard was super cool in episode 4
>allucard
watch that typo yo
Well now we know what happened to Iason.
That's all the money they had. Might as well call it OVA.
>no songs from the games rearranged
Fuck this.
That's disappointing but to hear Bloody Tears all you need to do is play a minor scale with a pedal tone. It's not exactly complicated.
Bloody Tears isn't even the best Castlevania song.
Oh? What is?
It is being adapted and produced by Warren Ellis, one of the few good comic writers left. So I have faith at how it will turn out.
>My Aunt is also my mother
What did he mean by that?
Why is Sup Forums so butthurt about castlevania? Just the fact that its the best "anime" in a long time and not even made by nips?
Because it isn't technically anime, but looks aesthetically more in line here than on Sup Forums. Also, it's likely just a vocal minority.
Fuck off autist
>Just the fact that its the best "anime" in a long time and not even made by nips?
I think the fact that it was not produced by the Japanese but all the studios that are Korean that makes up 90% of modern anime is a bone of contention. If the Americans can pay more for the same studios then what's stopping them from shutting down the anime industry in the west with higher volume and comparable style. It's something I as an anime fan do not want to go down the rabbit hole of but we'll see if Netflix takes the obvious gambit or continue with their Hollywood rivalries.
please don't do this

this is what i did
Doing this detracts from the viewing experience because you have to constantly glance down to read the subtitles.
Sup Forums needs to go back
Regardless. Doing this detracts from the viewing experience because you have to constantly glance down to read the subtitles.
I only played that for one weekend which was enough to beat it years ago. Can you be more specific?
Their is nothing wrong with subs but in this case the original writing is in English so everyone should watch it in English.
But, they detract from the viewing experience because you have to constantly glance down to read the subtitles.
While I agree with this: the ability to see the mouth flaps moving in time with the syllables spoken is not that important and the action tends to be without a lot of dialogue.
>the King's Avatar of this season
looking forward to these shitposting threads
These will die down in a couple of days. Wait until the conclusive arc early 2018.
Go pledge allegiance to the flag or something burger. There are few cases where dubs are better than subs, but if you cant read text while looking at the action you need to go and die.

that was also a name of a piece in the game

Honestly, it would've been distracting from the general tone they were setting. And I've heard a billion renditions of the classic tunes already.
The non-pussified games that weren't on Nintendo were full of blood and gore.
The art for that is rad as fuck too.
2hu fans confirmed to be based once again.
The closest I'm finding online is Leon's theme. It does have a SotN heavy piano melody with ghostly arias over it. It's good but I wouldn't call it as catchy as the more blunt NES simple riffs.
O MY RUBBER OPINION.
Wow are you a chameleon or something? Cool!
Im not ashamed
