How hard did it flop?

How hard did it flop?

Sales werent that high and Amazon was a fuck up. Game has no pre orders either. I think its safe to say that Trigger is on the brink of financial destruction thanks to Little Witch Academia and Tattun is trying to get Gaiji support in a last ditch effort

>Implying it flopped at all

...

user, it was behind dragon loli in BD sales

If you're genuinely concerned about BD sales, kill yourself. Doesn't matter if you're sincere or a shitposter, just fucking die.

It didn't sell very well because it's primarily streamed on the motherfucking Netflix. No one with a Netflix subscription needs a physical copy. How difficult is this to understand. Sage.

This, and without knowing the exact details of the deal, one would expect that Netflix has already made an advance payment on the rights to stream it... and if that is the case, it by definition hasn't flopped, since western viewers are gonna be all over it on Netflix.

>
>Implying people will wait a whole season to watch something

>implying the people who follow episodes on air days to shitpost on Sup Forums, MAL and /r/anime are the main demographic that studios market to

How difficult is to understand that sage is not a downvote? you stupid motherfuckier redditor

>implying there is a demographic outside of a

It sure is summer in here.

Maybe I didn't want to express my intention to "downvote" this thread. Think about that, you cumguzzling cocksucking dickwad.

Announcing sages is a bannable offence. Good day sir.

>Maybe I didn't want to express my intention to "downvote" this thread.
Then don't yell "Sage." like some dumb motherfucker who came from Sup Forums.

>I totally don't use it as a downvote guys, see that's why I announce it like a fucking faggot

fucking retard

Wait a minute, I just realized that maybe this redditard thinks that you actually sage by writing it like that.

Christ, the state of Sup Forums.

streaming ratings are far more accurate now-a-days.

and considering it was overloading traffic on every server that hosted the stream, that says something.

>Streaming will kill BD sales
Are you retarded?

sage is not a downvote you retarded redditard

Sold less than flop dragon so

there is already a thread on this, stop bumping it retard

not until you learn to not announce sage like a fucking retard

>generals
fuck off newcancer

...

countersage

>brink of financial destruction
>got 3 new anime projects lined up

>it's an Sup Forums doesn't understand the Japanese episode

People buy the BDs as collector items and for the bonuses. The lack of BD sales indicate it didn't do well with the hardcore market. Now, that might not be needed if it went well with the normalfag market, but we have no idea how to judge that.

Second half was shit.
Diana was in the originals a real bitch, witch some good points.
The anime made her too much of a main focus and removed the bitch part.
Sucy's mom got not shown.
Sucy, Amanda and so on, which the people really liked when talking about the OVAs got a lot of screentime stolen to make place for more Diana instead of balancing it out.
Sucy mom did not appear.

>Sucy's mom got not shown.
But... she doesn't have a mom...

...

>pushing the flop meme

Yea, the same demographic of normies that go see ghibli movies dubbed in theaters.

This.

She has!

Why do all Trigger shows feel like wasted potential? Like Trigger actively makes shows with the bare minimum originality and calls it a day.

>How hard did it flop?
your mom flopped harder selling her ass on the streets.

More like they start animating the shows before they really know where the story is going, then towards the end realise they're running out of episodes so scrape what they can together.

This isn't Sup Forums dumbass. Generals are an awful idea.

Good thing they scammed everyone in the Kickstarter for free money then.

Who...gives a fuck.
Look the hardcore market is where they can sell the most useless shit too and make a profit.
However getting the mainstream, becoming modern anime ghibli/disney/harry potter thing starring cute little witches of all shapes races and sizes would sell on an international stage.

It had all it needed to be popular with everyone and become one of those "you can watch this" type shows for little girls that parents and women love to tout so much.

Problem is that they decded to at the last second to push the character that was stripped of anything that made her liked in the first place and not even subtly pushed hardcore yuri in an attempt to pull in the audience that STILL doesn't give a shit. Bad fucking call trigger.

They thought they could sell BDs and not sell LWA holloween costumes and lunch boxes to parents and little girls.

Bad fucking idea.
VERY bad idea.

Hoc would they flop if they arent financing it at all in the first place? Isnt this thing crowrfunded? Also, Trigger already saved from catastrophic loss when Netflix bought LWA's license
