UtaRayRamano

Its a shame the second anime sucked so much and will never be continued properly, since the third game was fucking amazing. Entire second game may as well just been a prelude to the final game.

Why did they pick that director?

why do you still call it that if he's not in the show anymore?

Utawarerumono isn't the name of the protag, its "The one of whom songs are sung". The ancient story of their legends and story of their lord.

Besides he appears again in the third game repeatedly.

End of the third game Haku becomes the new Utawarerumono, Hakuro becomes just a normal human again. Goes back home to Tuskur.

Bittersweet as fuck

I feel like that sort of ruins the ending of the first game and anime. I hate when sequels do that.

> Hey, I wanna see my daughter and other wives.
> Oh, you're too late. Your daughter is on the move looking for the dude that took your place that is currently wandering the world fixing shit. And your wives are currently in foreign lands doing negotiations, so you're stuck here for awhile until they finally come back or you go looking for them.

It gives it a good ending ten-twenty years later, at the cost of creating a cycle of giving this game the same kinda ending as the first one, but for the new protags.

Old protags deserved a good ending. But the new problem is that the new protags deserve a good ending now. Haku ended up being a far better protag in the end.

>It cheapens it, it ruins it
Maybe you should actually play the old game again. It was shown at the end of the first game that Hakuro was still alive at the end, and eventually found Erururu again. Game literally ends with her turning around to someone who's implied to be Hakuro. Its not like he died, he just went to sleep for awhile. Although this plot point was kinda forgotten in the sequels anyway, so that's kinda moot.

Still has his main wife, that's all he really needs.

Now that Hakuoro is back as a full human, he can go back to fucking his wives when they all come back. But will any of his future kids even inherit god powers like Kuon now that he's a full human?

Nah, he's just human now. No godhood left to pass on.

More fucked up to think about what Haku and Kuon's kids would be like at this point.

Well, there's also Haku fucking bird brain, Atui, maybe the empress and little sister. I think there's enough genes to pass on.

Haku sperm wouldn't survive the pounding Kuon is giving his pelvis.

Are you implying Kuon will share?
Did you even play the 2 and 3?

Hakuro is all serious: You must inherit my great sin, you may never know rest again. If you take on thi-
Haku is just "Shit, a job where I can just lay around all day and not work? You sure about switching? No take backs"
Kicks Hakuro out of the heavenly realm and tells him to go get a job for a living now

Its more about what wierd fractions their kids would be.
100% divine being human + Demi-human 50% divine being with human blood = 75% divine human-demi-human-demi

He's literally godzilla now

Kuon can't even track him down properly

We all know the real winners here

...

They'll work something out, eventually.

Best girl

Oh yeah, Rulutieh and her sister.

>Thought the twins were the same at first, just had the same kinda personality
>Chapter where they split up
>Start to notice the differences
>Saraana is the more timid one
>Uruuru is more mature
>Saraana each time they talk just says two or three words, not talkative. Always talks first
>Ururu is the one who always follows up right after that, to say what they both mean, going into detail.

Kuon
Atuy
Nekone
Anju
Maroro
Nosuri
Rulu
Twins

Heck, if this was a porn game you really do get the feeling where their individual scenes were supposed to be. With Nosuri's dad telling her to go fuck Haku, and Nosuri starting to realize she has feelings as she goes hunting with Haku. Then Haku and Kuon making out in the ruins.

Don't forget Maroro.

Kirwyu is basically the only one who didn't realize it was Haku until the end.

good game

This

I don't want a good ending 10-20 years later though. I want an ending that will stick with for 10-20 years.

The first ending was meaningful and impactful. It was bittersweet but moving

when are we getting the ps2 remake of the first game
they added a lot of shit after skimming the japanese playthroughs

I love the games. They way they pace character interaction and breathers between each major plot point is great, makes you grown with the cast. Uta2 is the weakest in the series but Uta3 makes it up.

It's a reward to loyal Aquaplus fans like me. Finally the first MC returns and is free from his curse.

The PSP port of the remake is being translated.

Haku got a good ending. Him not turning into salt and being saved by Iceman was good. If Hakuoro didn't save him Kuon would destroy the world.

>I NEED EVERYTHING TO BE RAINBOWS AND BUBBLEGUM BECAUSE FEELING SAD IS BAD! AND STORIES SHOULD ONLY EVER MAKE ME FEEL GOOD!

For a loyal "fan" you sure are eager to let them crap over their stories integrity

Have you played the sequels? Hakuoro's return isn't some out of nowhere bullshit. It was a chain of events and a lot of hardships that gave him a chance to be free.
It's a great way to close the trilogy
You had like 13 years from 2002 or 10 years from 2006 to be down about Hakuoro's sealing.
