Dreamcast or Wii U?
Dreamcast or Wii U?
WTF is a Dreamcast
Dreamcast actually had good games.
Wii u was just plain dissapointing
List the games you're interested in on each.
I can't think of a non-Sonic game on the dreamcast that was good
But the Sonic games were some of the worse popular Dreamcast games.
Here's your (you)
Wii U actually has good games.
Dreamcast was just plain disappointing
>implying the Dreamcast had anything of note other than Capcom ports
lol
All the Dreamcast classics short of pretty much Jet Set Radio have aged like shit.
And even if we looked at all the great stuff and stacked them, there's nothing on par with Bayo 2, Tropical Freeze, Wonderful 101 or Mario Kart 8.
>MK8
>Beat out by Sanic Kart before it even came out
>Tropical Dong
>Babby's first somewhat hard platformer
>Bayo 2 and W101
>Being an irredeamable platfag
I bet you cheered the QTE that said "SAVE THE WORLD" faggot
Dreamcast. It actually was a significant improvement over the previous generation and brought many of the innovations that we enjoy today, analog triggers and an included modem for online play.
The Wii U did not bring us anything new that won't be used as a case study for how not to make a game console.
Analog triggers were present on the Saturn 3D controller, which is objectively better than the Dreamcast controller.
One of them is still getting games, so ofcourse I'm going for the Dreamcast.
Still, Sega did it first.
They also gave us progressive scan. Dreamcast with a VGA box looks gorgeous.
You have to own a console first to find out its good games.
Dreamcast was too advanced for it's time while WII U is behind 2 generations now.
Dreamcast was a real console, not a shitty, gimmicky toy made for kids in mind mostly.
Technically, the Dreamcast brought us the xbox as well.
Their work with Microsoft to push easy PC porting to and from the PC gave Microsoft the idea of the "DirectX Box"
but the xbox was a piece of shit
>aged
>there's nothing on par with Bayo 2, Tropical Freeze, Wonderful 101 or Mario Kart 8
its sad that you cant even counter anything you're responding to
Take out Wonderful 101 and it still applies.
There were no bad cosnoles in the 6th generation.
Wii U. The Dreamcast is a meme.
well on dreamcast I can play seventh cross evolution, and skies of arcadia, or SA1 and 2, or shenmue, PSO (plus schtserv),
Evolution 1 and 2 and some more I can't think of.
wii u has mario maker, smash, pokken, 3d world. That's literally all the games I can think of that I want to play on wii u.
...
I mean, they both have pretty good libraries. Comparing the two is retarded especially if you're trying to imply the Wii U is the nail in Nintendo's coffin when they're in a vastly different financial and internal situation than Sega was.
But this user is right
Capcom made the DC. 3rd Strike, MvC2, Alpha ports, Power Stone, RE Code Veronica, etc.
Sega's actual titles were in hindsight pretty bad. The Sonic Adventure games are dogshit and it's terrible blueprint still is fucking up Sonic to this day. Typing of the Dead is kinda cool novelty. Crazy Taxi is okay for like 30 minutes tops. Shenmue is one of those things that you had to play at its time, it's not very engrossing now.
Jet Set & Phantasy Star are pretty much it.
If you want to play 3D World instead of Tropical Freeze your opinion means nothing.
I played DKC 20 years ago, I have no interest in playing more of it. Everything i've seen in regards to the rebooted series has shown it was easier, less complex, and had less movement mechanics, and less level variety.
You can say the same thing about the Mario games yet you still play them apparently.
>Crazy Taxi is okay for like 30 minutes tops
Because it's an arcade game, meant to be played in short bursts.
Wiiu
Sega is absolute trash, besides games I can play on other consoles like code veronica and sonata of the night, it had nothing. cause sega makes absolute trash games
Spoken like a true retard.
Blue stinger?
That game was so bad it's actually good. Also no
>chu chu rocket.
>Ready 2 Rumble
>House of the dead 2
>CRAZY taxi 2
>THPS2
>Sonic Adventure 2
>RE:CV
