The answer is no, not until we have people actually looking into it more. There's no motivation to do so, and the small attempts to make it happen have offered almost no success only because the sandbox for the system is fucking huge.
We;d need a kernel exploit, and doing that is not easy with the people on board since there's no motivation to actually do so.
The only way you can get momentum going (and i made a small push with a prototype game dump - more to come soon) then any fucker that can offer money for an exploit can easily get more people on board to try and find an exploit.
Best we have is eCFP for the PSP emulator in it because it works and there's no real motive to go forward.
Piracy and flash carts on the other hand are more preferable, but also requires knowledge to make the system be tinkered with, which also requires exploits.

E3 flasher can do some post 3.55 fw to just upgrade, but its still better to downgrade to 3.55 first.

I know there are hardware flashers for >3.55, but I don't count hardware solutions unless it is a flash cart for a handheld. I will go as far as to buy an exploit game, but that's it. And I do think PS3 has enough attention, it's not the worst console to its competitors nor did it sell very little.

Vita library is very niche, and it doesn't attract savants like smealum. The arguement for emulators for vita doesn't work so well since its just reinventing the wheel in a world where android smartphones with controller clips exist.

the anti-piracy measures succeeded so well because they used a modified M2 memory card (look it up. its just different pinouts) with no SD support, as well as ENCRYPTION EVERYWHERE, along with taking no chances with the system firmwares.
they stopped piracy but the cost for a vita is the same as a PS4 so the people that wanted most games on the vita had gotten a ps4 instead because it looked better and was more reasonable financially.
the one time sony stopped piracy (until i showed up and am working on things) was also their biggest commercial failure.
encryption on the data can be bypassed and then a way to make a micro sd card use the pfs filesystem and inserted as a game cart would be the easiest way to make a flash cart. the issue then is the pfs filesystem and the encrypted data. once we can decrypt it, then the part that has to be done is make a compliant flash cart.
its simple in concept, but hard in practice (but only for 2 parts)

I personally put Hearts R in my top 3 tales, between Symphonia and Xillia 2. Some of the town music is hit or miss but at its core the game hits all the right notes for a good tales, like great combat, fun cast, and good overworld for adventurin.
