Overwatch Fullgame VS. Beta

I've been playing the open beta and I've have to say I'm impressed. I didn't care about this game until I played it. Will there be more content in the full release, or is the open beta pretty much the full game?

Open beta is all the launch content, more maps are inevitable.

You get to pay 40 dollars, and then pay for each additional character update.

Blizzard is literally making a retail game where you still have to buy new characters.

I thought the art design and the look of the game is great. Sadly it is kind of musical chairs with the characters. Constantly just switching to counters. Or even worse just people only playing one character and not willing to switch to counter/ change up strats.

Also a TF2 spin off is not worth 60 dollars in any sense

it looks and plays great though.

What are you even saying

Characters and maps are free

They haven't confirmed new characters or having to buy new characters.

same the first time I saw overwatch I just brushed it off. then I played the beta and was pleasantly surprised by the game. Still not gonna buy It at launch but I might get it later one after they add more stuff. even at 40 bucks I just dont feel that its the best use of my money.

If I end up buying it, I'll preorder it cheaper off a third party site

lol all future characters and maps are free and so are the updates

>and then pay for each additional character update.

good thing it's $40 then

...

I hear all updates are free.

Those always seem sketchy to me.

g2a is pretty solid. do recommend.

they just buy keys in bulk its like a 10% chance that you get a shitter that takes your money. but they have insurance on some sites for that.

Those seemed sketchy to me too, but then I though of all the people who are sponsored by them and thought they must be legit.

What really made me stop thinking that way is when I was able to buy a copy of outlast for $1.07 on kinguin

Overwatch Origins Edition is only $41 on G2A right now, so I'll probably get it from there though

im just looking for the 40 dollar version of overwatch on one of those websites. but no luck.

Here you go.

I think you can only purchase the $40 version from blizzard exclusively, but on the third party market sites they're selling the $60 versions for $42. Since its only $2 more I'll probably get it since wynaut

its just I dont really care for the extra skins or the other stuff they give you. and I kinda thought as much for the 40 dollar version. maybe they might drop the exclusive deal later on if so then ill get it.

I'll buy this game and exclusively play Mercy, Pharah, and Widowmaker.

I wish Symmetra was good. I'm trying to figure out the actual benefit to her play style.

Symmetra is basically good for defending points with those laser turrets and surviving long enough for her teleporter

Symmetra is exclusively a defence role IMO, you're basically playing for the utility of her teleport. Other than that, turrets set up in chokepoints/corridors are pretty good.

BTFO you fucking cuck.
