What I always thought was great about the computer is IT DOES OTHER STUFF.
It isn't just a game playing machine, it's an omni-entertainment device.
There isn't really a major need to upgrade it every year for something as minor as games.
If you can get 60fps on 1080p videos you're pretty much set, and most games are playable barring some massive change in computer architecture.
