The Helghast didnt fuck thier own planet. It was completly destroyed by the ISA, giving them a section of Vekta was the least they could do, especially since Vekta was stolen from the Helghast in the first place which is why they are salty at all.

Currently Guerrilla games are focused on Horizon Zero Dawn. Might take few years after Horizon's release until we get some news about a new Killzone. Somehow I doubt they will continue the Killzone series.
