What went wrong?

What went wrong?

It's weeb shit

Chaos Legion wasn't a great game to begin with, so patterning it after that wasn't going to make it good.

Yurishit.

Who even has time to play these games? They're not fun enough to spend the next 40 hours playing for such little reward. Not even for the Animes.

Memeing faggots shitting on a game they haven't played.

I dunno. I liked it.

It only released stateside on PS4 when I don't have one BUT have a PS3 and a Vita.

It was released on the wrong platform.

Game was fine. It's a low budget JRPG. Great soundtrack and decent story. Gameplay is alright, but it suffers from reusing the same stages over and over again.

Has plenty of potential though. I hope they keep making games along the same lines.

I wanted it on vita, but they decided to not to localize it.

- Due to timed exclusive DLC (as in the first week) Amazon and other retailers stopped selling the game, which sent scalpers into a frenzy. For almost a full week, the game was being sold for $65

- By the time Amazon started selling the game, interest was completely dead. A couple months after its debut, Amazon started lowering the price to draw interest. People like me, whom purchased it for around $38-36 were burned as it continued to drop to $28. Now it is steadily rising in price.

- Lesbians
- No PS3 or VITA release in America
- An action JRPG that is boring as hell (Gust's signature)

>- Due to timed exclusive DLC (as in the first week) Amazon and other retailers stopped selling the game

The Gust dlc was preorder only.

Nothing.

...

I really like the mood/atmosphere for this game. Probably the best OST I've heard since Nier. Something about the game is really relaxing

And fuck the other transformations Moon Rabbit is where it's at

>Gust's signature
Out of the billions of games Gust have released, they've put out one clunky half-ARPG piece of shit, and one actual ARPG. How exactly is that their signature?

The DLC popped up on PSN, which is why there was such an unplanned panic. The physical game being pulled was a reaction to that.

Gust games always feel half assed. Whether it's the Atelier games, or even the entirety of Ar nosurge.

>The DLC popped up on PSN

People knew about the preorder Gust dlc months in advance. They advertised it on every website that let you preorder it. How the fuck was this "unplanned" ?

Everyone who panicked is a fucking retard.

It's like $80 cad.
Fuck that noise.

I'm seriously surprised that nobody has ever set up a work around site in Detroit yet. This isn't an America to China physical issue.

No english

It's called low budget. Not every game can be Uncharted 4 movie tier sorry bro

>action JRPG that is boring as hell (Gust's signature)

They've literally done an action game two times in their entire history out of a pretty big number of total games they've made. Great job.

As a fan of Japanese games, I still do not understand the demand for "localizations" that charge AAA prices for zero American voice acting. It's insulting for how much voice acting has grown in America.

>Gust

Gee I don't know, they always produce high quality games.

You can have a low budget and it still be a quality work.

Being low budget is not an excuse. Serious Sam 3 was "low budget" and it has better graphics and art style than most AAA games that came out within the past 5 years.

What is there not to understand?
People only want the text changed to English as faithfully as possible. The idea is to preserve as much of the original product as possible, not make something new.

Ar Nosurge's music is anything but half-assed. The only thing at this point I feel disappointed in about Ar Nosurge was the CGs.

The combat is also very well put together, considering they where trying to make something of an action game, while trying to introduce a VN audience to games. You can play it at the animation speed, or play it slowly. It's a great system.

>japanese
>anime art style
>focused on porn and fanservice MUH DICK OOGA BOOGA LOOK REDDIT BOOBS MAI WAIFU OMG IM SUCH A WEEABOO XD
>gust
>toie tecmo

There is literally nothing NOTHING going for this game. Everything went wrong you cucked chucklefuck

>The idea is to preserve as much of the original product as possible, not make something new.
People have attempted to do raw translations of games before, and were C&D'ed as a result. In all theory, the truest version would be edits of the Japanese release.

Was it bad? I was actually looking forward to it a while ago but then forgot about it.

>and were C&D'ed as a result
Sure, if they didn't have agreements with the parent company.
>the truest version would be edits of the Japanese release.
That's the goal.

If a company is going to C&D someone, they're going to do it regardless of whether they're doing a straight fan translation or a localization.

Wondering this too, was legitimately considering buying it.

Gust

How fucking retarded are you?

It's okay; a 7/10 if you're being generous.

The game plays like a Musou, but not like an especially good one. In addition to you regular strong and weak attacks, you can also summon four demons at a time that can help you with healing, attacking and looking for items.

The graphics are ok, but look low budget. The characters hair and clothes look like plastic and are very stiff, clipping through each other a lot.

While the game has a lot of fanservice, it isn't very lewd. The love between the two girls is as pure as can be. It's pretty heartwarming.

The music is probably the best part of this game. Pretty rockin'.

Overall, it's a nice game too play if you like Musou-like gameplay and cute girls. It could have been a lot better if they had made the battle mechanics more like a real Musou game.

This was my first PS4 game.

If you liked playing Diablo 2 as the necromancer you might like this game.

Nothing. A niche game that appealed to its niche very well.

...

SJW propaganda shit

>This was my first PS4 game.
Fucking weebs.

At least I buy my games you disgusting pirate niggard

90% of the entire game is easy. It only gets hard once you get to last boss and post game boss.
