Because the games make your dick hard, it has fantastic music, the characters are interesting and the humor is great. It also has pretty cool moments.

Same here. They're pretty mediocre through and through (aside from SK2 which I though edged on actually decent) but I enjoy them as timekillers, something to pick up for a little bit here and there to beat up titty ninjas as other titty ninjas.

Baiting adult feral hunters to civilian centers and watching them kill civilians and soldiers always gets a laugh out of me, even trough I know its edgy or childish as fuck.

Killed the series? It was the second game, and it was better than the first in almost every way. Only thing the first game had better was a much harder final boss.

Srpgs is nothing to feel guilty over though. It's a great, if not a little under-represented, genre.

Well, I dont have anything against prot2, I actually like the game.

But people say that killed the series because infamous is already on the ps4 with a new game, on the other hand activision went full greedy jew mode and closed radical because prototype 2 did not sell enough.

I think it's more exposure to all types of games, and people start limiting themselves. For example, I'm one of the few people I know that's decent in all type of games to at least above 50% level 'not hard, the games I like I'm better at yet not at competitive tier', play last stage in puzzles, fight in online ranking with fighters, finish rpgs, break past lap records in racing games, go for 100% in a platformer, stay fast and nimble in RTS.

There are people that don't de construct their time while they play to improve a little thing. My most consistent improvement is in FPS, getting better as I get older.
Also if you haven't dropped MOBA's yet, you either have a great group of mates you play with, or you are doing it terribly fucking wrong with only solo or duo matches.
Duo is only an exception if you practice ganking kill comboes.

Type Moon makes amazing concepts but the stories are usually cliche trash.

That said I'm completely with you, except I've only stuck to the VN and the anime adaptations. The other games are mostly trash except Fate/Unlimited Codes was fun for a while and so is Melty Blood.

They aren't complicated and all interactions are for the sake of humor. It's an easy series to enjoy for me since there's no great drama nor intensity. It's a "comfy" RPG for me.

4x is a joke of a genre difficulty wise outside of the highest difficulties or most severely self imposed challenges.

And the barrier for entry is super low too. Not like Grand Strategy where it takes you 20 hours of youtube tutorials and 50 hours of game time before you actually "understand" the game.

You can get a good grasp of everything you need to know about Civ 5 in 5 minutes and have it figured out enough to beat it on the middle difficulties in just a couple games.
