The petition is retarded but so is the circumstances surrounding the review.

This guy never gave a score in his review and was most likelymade up on the spot when metacritic asked him for one. He is a known ultra contrarian who used to write at IGN's contrarian collum. He hated dark souls for essentially having ''too much gameplay'' and his favourite games are telltale games.

He obviously doesn't enjoy or take video games seriously as a genre, yet insist on reviewing them and channeling his negativity toward the medium of entertainment through reviews. He simply shouldn't be reviewing games in the first place.

That being said, here's what his ''''review'''' essentially amounted to : ''The visuals are shown to the viewer rather than communicated to them''. Only the most desperate console warring and most likely PC clown Sup Forumstard would defend such a meaningless and pretentious reviewer just for the sake and the off chance you might anger somebody who likes the game and perhaps his PS4.

Metacritic said in their twitter that WP gives them their scores separately exactly for the purpose of score aggregation. They requested score for the game and received 4/10. Give it a rest, the game is utter shit.

Don't get me wrong i'm 100% in favor of freedom of speech, but when it's nonsensical speech who doesn't respects a game as excellent as Uncharted 4 and gives it the score it deserves, that speech ought to be removed

I didn't play the game, I say that as a PC user who has jusst seen a lot of footage of the game and has been impressed, all I will say that it just isn't a 4/10 or a below average game through any reasonable judgement, it just isn't. I'm not saying it';s the 10/10's the game has gotten but it ain't a 4, that actually implies that cash grab games like Quantum Break are actually good and it encourages this practice.

reviewer is not exactly wrong, U4 definitely feels really bloated and boring, we've already seen all the series has to offer in terms of mechanics and gameplay, all the setpieces begin to feel the same especially the ones where you jump onto something and it breaks, they look nice and all but I felt no tension because it's just another cutscene that plays out.

Dunkey's 3/5 was a great score for the game because it was a good review, I have no problem with being critical, I just hate the idea of taking retards seriously because you just want to shit on a game

Honestly though, I've been watching a playthrough because this is more of a movie than anything and doesn't seem to be worth the money because of said reason. HOWEVER this is the prettiest game I've ever seen. Visuals are fucking outstanding and that alone, discounting the actual playability as I assumed there'd be little anyway, grants it a 9/10 from me.

Story seems to be pretty good too, so points for that, but minus points for the sjw pull with the strong female black lady who literally kicks the shit out of Drake.

Agreed, I didn't agree with dunkeys review but I'll be dammed if it wasn't fair, completely valid and worthy of being taken seriously.

According the forbes article he did have his score given along with the review when it was submitted to the The Washington Post. Why it didn't show up on The Washington Post website is the site own policy and out of his control. Metacritic receive the score that the reviewer gave from The Washington Post so that's why it's show up on Metacritic as 4/10 since that what he gave the game.

Actually, I'll correct myself. The guy I'm watching hasn't finished it yet, so I can't really give much of a grade for the story. What the story lacks however is that it jumps from place to place without any real standing. Yes they're looking for treasure, but there's all this hype bullshit and letdown one after another with the same excuse of, "oh treasure isn't here," which is fine but good god come up with some new story points because it gets stale after the third time theyre directed somewhere else.

Also, how believable is it that Avery set up map points all over the world in his lifetime as well as expected others to take this journey themselves within their own lifetime? Considering he couldn't fathom technology, he wouldve had to have built it around his contemporary technology--i.e. large wooden boats, maps, and astronomy. But it doesn't fit, considering the trek alone would cost most of one's life if they were left with just that. So I call bullshit

This is hilarious because it's one of the few times that a story driven game is reviewed by it's story. It's not unfair, it's just not normally done.

People rate stuff 10 or 0 all the time without trying to actually score it. It's not even necessarily fanboyism.
10 is "I like thing" 0 is "I didn't like thing"

Also despite the fact that I agree with you, there's still the odd coincidence that the person I screencapped just happened to only review two PS4 exclusives and one Microsoft exclusive. I don't think that many people would own both systems, buy three games exactly and review them like that.

It is sad Nintendo had to pay Washington Post to give Uncharted 4 a bad review. Nintendo needs to realize their console is dead and Sony won.
