Did it work Sup Forums? Did we finally persuade you to play our shitty tumblr game?

Did it work Sup Forums? Did we finally persuade you to play our shitty tumblr game?

I'm pretty sure all the people who wanted to play it played it on the first week and everyone who wants to discuss it has moved to /vg/.

When I played UNdertale I had fun and felt engaged.

I already played it last year, it was all right.

tumblr could never make such a decent game

>He finally did Undyne porn
>I already fapped 2 times in the last hour
Fuuuck

the concept was interesting, the characters were fun, the music nice, the gameplay refreshing, the puzzle boring and the art direction very uneven, short but nice replay value

but the fandom made it annoying

Nobody is going to play Knuckle Sandwich, now fuck off

I played it on release and enjoyed it
then I saw a lot of people being mad because the fandom is autistic (just like any fandom) then they try to hate the game they liked.
And now it's a trend to hate it, to fit in the crowd.

it made it even more fun

Yes.. i pirated the gog version. After that i deleted it because game is fucking shit.

Game was okay, played it once.
Music was awesome, still listening to that shit.

no. a friend bought it for me. haven't played it. probably won't. the battle system seems fun but I can't be bothered with the pretentious "you are a horrible person for killing everyone" bullshit. I got enough of that with Hotline Miami but at least it focused on fun gameplay over a shitty story.

>bought it week one, anticipated it for a while
>played it the usual manner: neutral, pacifist, then genocide
>haven't touched it since
Emotional, engaging, satisfying. The battle system kept shaking things up all the way through. Characters had no more than two layers of depth but were fun and charming. Music was stellar. Graphics were, well, self-explanatory, but the rest of the game's merits just kinda make it a non-issue for me, especially considering it's just about a one-man job.

Overall, it's a great 8-15 hour experience. I loved it. It only went mainstream because of Toby's place in the Homestuck fandom. Sure it was a breath of fresh air in a lot of ways and seemed to resonate with a ton of people, but it wouldn't have spread like this without Hussie's cockriders to lay the red carpet.

Chara is the only character worth saving in that shitty tumblr meme game to be honest lads

You can just._.Not kill everyone. The genocide route is just there for people who want 100% completion for its own sake

No, ive never played it because im afraid ill like it

Best character

Seeing reactions of everyone when you killed everything was great
In the end it really shows that Undyne is really someone deserving to rule that pathetic kingdom and Asgore is truly broken
It also shows that Alphys can actually resemble someone competent

Yes and I ended up finding it mediocre.

I got past the Undyne fight and stopped playing there, game's pretty boring

An absurdly clever and an scarily efficient game. Still kicking myself that I missed being at ground zero of it becoming a meme game.
Shame about the fanbase, but that's really just a natural consequence of accessibility + popularity.

>people like Undertale this much
so how much of the content did I miss out on when I didn't care to finish anything past the neutral ending because the actual gameplay is so boring it literally made me angry to play it?

who user? the spice must flow

The neutral route sucks. The game only becomes anything other than a mediocre RPG at the end of the Pacifist and Genocide routes.

>posts a LoL gif
>enjoyed undertale

there is no helping you, ignorance is bliss I guess

Getting 10x his projected funding goal certainly helped. Unlike most kickstarter devs he has at least half an idea how to budget time and effort.

It's still going to be a million years before he releases the spiritual prequel.
