As far as my knowledge goes, multiplatform releases do not affect a game's community in the long run

Both Touhou with its recent PS4 releases, and Disgaea with its recent PC release, sure there has been a surge of shitposting at the time the news got out (as happens with all news of moderately big size and over), but it subsided over time and now both communities are just as good/bad as they used to be

I honestly do not give one iota of a fuck if this game comes out on PC. It could come out on the xbone, vita, the fucking neo geo for all I care and it wouldn't bother me. What annoys me to no end is the constant begging that comes out from pc beggars the moment they don't see their platform immediately announce. Not much in this thread, but it usually goes down for most releases by ping-ponging between "pc when" and magnifying only the flaws in a game like there are no good parts because it's not on PC. Then it gets released and then there's much more "beta testing" elitism shitposts for about a week until the master race drops the game like a hot potato and moves on to begging/picking apart the next delayed PC release.

Plus when it comes to fighters, Sup Forums for the most part, especially the pcfags, is incredibly shit and uninformed with fighters and the rule on casualness is generally flipped. It's GOOD to this place not being one of those "tourneyfags" because you play for fun, unlike them. Wiggling your thumb is the hardest thing to do in existence and special moves should be delegated to a button press.

I'm in basically every KoF XIV thread. I'm there even when the iddatakimasu-Terry-Burning user is not there.
And that post is so full of shit as it shouldn't even count as a bait and I still eat it, as it pisses me off.

I swear that if one were to conduct counting in every KoF XIV there is, has been and will be, there would be twice the number of posts complaining about PC beggers than actual posts asking about PC port.
