I bet they aren't going to change much and the patch is just to force people to update after they release a new firmware that patches the kernel exploit, like they did with all the 3DS Pokémon games. You know, get some impatient people to update before IOSU is released.

Cloud is still the best doubles character but now he's just SS tier instead of SSS tier.

Cloud has amazing hit boxes, kill confirms, limit break, and combos he win a tournaments regularly he's not shit your the one who is. His recovery isn't even that bad

There is still Lucina. But since I barely pay attention to her I don't know how she compares to Roy. For all I know all the buffs Marth got might have made her better than Roy since she shares most of them.

Auto cancel lightning kicks will never ever be a thing unless they drastically nerf the power.

What they should really do is give Zelda an actually good fair for spacing and just keep lightning kick as her bair. After that just make her frame data better, I guess.

You can't win a major with a mediocre character. Mewtwo's good but you have to put serious effort into him.

Abadango is a step ahead of every other Mewtwo player. I haven't seen a single other Mewtwo as good at teleport edge cancels, DJC shadow ball and footstool disable set ups as Abadango. His spacing and confirms are amazing, he really brings out Mewtwo's potential.

The thing I think a lot of people really tend to forget about is that Palutena was designed as the poster character for custom moves which do make her a more viable character, especially with Lightweight and Super Speed on. I think that's why they never really buffed her that much.
