Blizzard made a game good enough that a massive amount of its marketing is free word-of-mouth advertising, (ie. people just talking about the game a lot till its released).

As much as I hate shills, I actually believe the hype is genuine. Blizzard doesn't release games that often so it deserves its level of hype, especially a game that was free over the weekend and appeals to the weebs.

Shit like Dark Souls, Oblivion, Witcher or any other single player game is fucking shilled up the ass forcibly. The fact that they're being "discussed" long after their release is apparent.

Overwatch is just such a fun, fresh, and inventive game compared to those other games.
