At the start of the game you're a young knight in a romantic relationship with a princess, she even makes you promise you'll marry her someday at a holy site. Soon after the kingdom gets invaded and she gets kidnapped. The main character spends the next 4 years I believe gathering dragons for him and the resistance and the mounts a lengthy campaign trying to rescue her. Inbetween missions the game sometimes cuts to her being taught shit/talking to some honorable general of the empire that captured her, and by the time you rescue her said honorable general joins your resistance together with her. You end up going to the holy spot with the two of time sometime later where she literally chooses him over you and you're forced to watch them slowly walkin to get married ( and presumably fuck ).
The general dies later in the game and you end up traveling the world becomming a legendary dragonmaster but i was still mad as fuck.

If the beginning of Bahamut Lagoon wasn't so fucking boring, I bet it would be considered another SNES RPG classic to be honest.
Seriously, the first few hours of that game are some of the most boring hours I've ever been through in an RPG, and this happened years ago.

If you want to break the game yeah, just cram everything you get down the first dragons throat, in his holy and master forms he's invincible, does stupid damage, no movement restrictions, and you can set his AI to go ahead and kill damn near everything before your human party reaches it
