fucking funny

So you're paying less but it takes way longer to unlock things?

...

It's time VS money and the difference is HUGE

This seems fine

Who the fuck comes up with this shit? Its literally experimenting shitty payment schemes!

it's cheaper and it tells you things will take longer. how is this btfo?

People paid $60 for this piece of shit.

>piece of shit

I see you haven't played it

>piece of shit

Its the best FPS in the last 10 years.

Its testing consumer patients. The easy way out would be to buy the shitty Season Pass,

No MP only game is worth $60

See also: Battlefront

>paying this much for mp only

Well now it's worth $15, so what's the problem?

true, though if i play it for 100 hours then i believe it is worth it

>the next crash cant come any sooner

Im playing Siege since closed alpha.
So far 300 hours in it for $60 and still far from getting bored of it.

I dont even remember the last game i spent 100 hours in.

Witcher 3 is the closest with 80h.

>this one MP only game isn't worth $60 in my opinion so I'll argue it a fact that not a single MP only game is worth that price even though it's subjective
-you

Thought it was a good deal at first because I only play terrorist hunt anyway which usually locks out half the operators. Played around 50 hours in the open beta and had a blast but I'm still on the fence about the price desu.

>Uplay

Both uplay and origin are already better tham steam

Nce try valvedrone

Origin maybe but not UPLAY

I'm glad more people will be willing to try it.
It's a really good FPS and it's a massive surprise Ubisoft ever managed to make it, I guess they managed to fuck up the price, release and new content.

>buy R6 cheap
>spend a little extra money to buy renown boosters and grind your way to success
I don't see the problem senpai

I don't see what's so funny about that

>Playing this CoD piece of shit when I could enjoy based Overwatch

no thanks

Only buy it for the 5v5.
Terrorist Hunt is like an additional fun mode to play while waiting for others to finish a match

Your loss user, it's a great game, even on consoles all the teams are using headsets. Says a lot about the level of teamwork the game asks, and says a lot that people rise to it. Within a few hours I was in a full party of speaking players, having tacticool matches and then spamming riot shields after.

>Publisher exclusives
They'll always be shit.

NEVER FORGET
youtube.com/watch?v=4ZonRWlSy7k

Honestly, this seems like a pretty good idea. I'm never going to pay full price for a fucking MP game again, and I picked up Siege on the cheap for 30 bucks at launch because they were bundling keys with gfx cards.

I'd be far more willing to spend 10-20 bucks to buy into a version of the game where unlocks take a little longer, over spending 60 bucks new, or even worse, playing F2P shit with 12 year olds. It's literally the best of both worlds, paywall to keep the shitters out, cheap to increase the number of people playing.

Is Overwatch really any good? What are its strengths and weaknesses?

>There are people who actually wanted this trash

Alright well thats saved me giving $15 to Ubisoft. I revisit the game when there's a free weekend or something.

>strengths
waifus

>weaknesses
everything else

It's not very good. It's a fun little class based shooter that's insanely easy with a skill ceiling on par with CoD. The problem with it is that the maps are tiny, and a round take a couple of minutes. There's no time for complex thought, you just ram the enemy as a death ball and whoever gets more kills wins.

>I-it's multi only it's not worth it

I literally payed 35 for it on G2A along with anyone else who isn't a total retard. Honestly one of the best multiplayer shooters in years.

A good and well rounded multiplayer component is worth 3 times as much as a well made campaign which is finished after 1 month maximum.

but I want to forget it was edgy, it was a cinematic corridor, it was press X to wife.

...

>can't play terrorist hunt offline
FUCKING UBISOFT
U
C
K
I
N
G

>press square to kiss wife

At least they used the door closing technology in the Division. All wasnt lost.

>Buy game
>Buy more overpriced shit to not have to grind to unlock shit

Then why not buy the standard edition you shitbag

pros:
some classes can be fun

cons:
chokepoints on maps (hanamura is the worst offender)
boring characters, only junkrat is funny
content seems lacking, too few and generally not so good maps
some casualizing abilities (auto aim, wallhack)
and just gets old way too fast

I've played it and it's shit.

SWAT 4 is still superior in every way.

>Hit detection
>Animations
>Lag
>Ranked wasn't even at launch
>Awful balance for 3 months

Yeah, 60 euro and season pass.

Even R6 Vegas 2 is better, not to mention Ghost Recon and SWAT 4.

>ubisoft games
>2016

Wow I thought the game would be good what the fuck?!?

>Even R6 Vegas 2 is better

those are great, but they're dinosaurs

>official ubisoft FAQ actually uses the word "grind"
Did no one check to see if there was any stigma behind that word, or are they seriously incapable of elaborating?

>he needed to use boosters
Wow fag just play the game and get kills. It doesn't even take very long to unlock everybody.

so? they are still better.

nice counter arguments.

>even R6V2 is better, not to mention ghost recon and swat 4.

people will still buy the 70$ edition somehow

>hit detection
has been improved upon with every patch
>animations
Still sketchy, I admit
>Lag
Must be your connection
>Ranked wasn't even at launch
BF4 didn't even work at launch and look at it now

If you think so then you should definitely play them instead of Siege.

>people still play SWAT4 years after
>jewbisoft is trying to put their shit game on a life support
>The Division threads are all gone
>Siege will soon follow

I have.

I wanted a >>RAINBOW SIX

This.

It's fucking criminal that Siege doesn't have a single player campaign. Every Rainbow six in existance has had a single player campaign.

>tfw the last true rainbow six game was a fucking Gundam game (albeit a stellar one)

Those not calling it a Rainbow 6 game clearly missed every game after Raven-Shield till Siege. The concept of the game is extremely unique, followed by a destruction system even more advanced than the Bad Company games.

No match plays exactly the same unless you are tryhard faggot.

The PC community is healthy and with each new DLC the player numbers spike. It's just too bad it doesn't get more support from Ubi.

12000 renown for a new operator is pretty steep for a new player
Hell, it's pretty steep for existing players if they had to unlock all of the characters

wait, scratch that, RS3 came out a year after.

>Vegas series
>Ubi makes one of the worst and poorly written characters, Gabe Nowak
>Vegas 2 shows him as a gung-ho fuck up and gets the hostage negotiator killed
>Team Rainbow, a highly disciplined team made up of the best of the best
>Gabe was somehow able to pass selection into the team
>Helicopter boss battle in Vegas 2
Nice writing Ubi

You need to provide an argument first

They do instantly get 4 free, though.

Thinking about it, going Starter Edition -> Buying enough credits to unlock all the operators is the same price as the regular edition AND unlocks every operator, so it's technically a better deal than the base game.

Siege is a Rainbow Six game, whether you like it or not, fuccboi. The game is not even close to RNG Strike.

Do you HAVE to have uplay installed to play this ?

It seems fun but I can't be bothered with another useless client. Especially one from ubisoft.

>selling a game that is already flooded with cheaters for THREE TIMES LESS
Standard ubisoft practice. Move on, the game will be dead by the time the update cycle finishes.

I don't get it, how is anyone BTFO because of this?
How is this even a bad thing?

Why am I even asking... you are just another dumb shit.

Yes, although it one of the games where uplay is almost non intrusive. Nothing like Anno or something like that.

At least Uplay is pretty non-intrusive. I just consider it the R6 launcher.

question, is this game still popular and did they ever fix the network issues from launch? i remember in the beta it was awful

>most complaints are the game being multiplayer focused and not being singleplayer therefore not a legit r6 game because this time the good players can outtacticool your dumb ass

Literally casuals complaining they cant fight dumbass AI as the main point of the game

>playing any R6 game past Rainbow Six 3

lmaooo

>people still play SWAT4 years after

Where the fuck are the people playing SWAT 4?

DOOM is more alive than SWAT 4 at this point.

Also Siege is a good game at its core riddle with fucking shitty network and bad anti-cheaters system.

It's still something that runs in the background for absolutely no reason.

Any chances the starter edition will have another discount during the steam summer sale ?

I might get it to play with some friends if it's cheap enough.

Still popular a d network issues were fixed 2 weeks right after launch i think
Or 1 week?

Anyway the shit netcode was fixed right after launch

I bought it full price it's a good game but it needs some anti cheat

>if it's cheap enough.
It is already cheap you underage faggot, get a paper round or save your pocket money.

Oy vey Gamers.
Just buy the Boosterâ„¢!

It's no piece of shit but it certainly is not worth $60.

People complaining about Siege have never played it or remember it from beta. I thought the game looked like shit at first, but watching people play it and then playing it myself changed everything.

It's a completely underrated game.

>buying uplay games on steam

Gotta get my cheevos man

Uplay has them

Fucking conservatives making sure it never became a thing because muh feels.

The problem's not me but my friends.

>It's still something that runs in the background for absolutely no reason.
Just like steam. I'm not here to persuade you of anything if you already knows how it works, I'm just saying that it's less of a headache now

yeah but they don't show up on my steam account. I want everyone who looks my name up to know that I play the game and have a well informed opinion on it.

Why would you even compare them?
SWAT4 was primarily for coop/singleplayer
Siege is a multiplayer dedicated to getting people breaching and clearing in a multiplayer FPS

>Tom Clancy's Counterstrike
>Tom Clancy's Generic Apocalypse Survival Game

Why is ubi obsessed with using Tom Clancy and their old IP names to try to sell shit that those games so obviously do not represent? That shit works LITERALLY ONCE and causes your consumers to mistrust you for lying to them about what to expect from the brand recognition. Are they just incapable of not shooting themselves in the foot?

I recently got siege.
It's a good game under all that ubisoft bullshit.

Not only micropayments in a full priced game but holy fuck it's broken as fuck
>it took me 3 days to get the game to stop crashing every time a level was loaded
>3 fucking days of doing everything short of format
>forums littered with crash and stutter reports
>game still stutters randomly and freezes for half a second at random
>the new operators are OP as fuck

But the game is still really fun.

>Just like steam

Yes just like steam, read my first post, dumbass.

>tfw cant play any other online FPS because they all garbage compared to Siege

How else im gonna get my daily adrenaline rushes if Siege dies?

Looking at the steamcharts, the game is loosing players real quick. Went from average 65 thousand players to 26 thousand players, to 9 thousand

MP only game can be worth 60 dollaroos
This game would definetly be worth 60 dolarongas if it wasn't littered with game breaking bugs and optimization issues

And then there's the microtransactions

Your first doesn't mention Steam, retard.

>buy a modern Ubisoft title on Steam
>have to install Origin and activate my game on there as well
