The Electronic Entertainment Expo 2016, better known as E3, is now just a month away. Many publishers have already begun teasing their lineups for the event. While it is still regarded as one of the major gaming events in the world, several traditional exhibitors also announced that they will not make the trip this year, while some will have their own side-gigs.
So far, 2016 has been a great year for gamers, but there is still so much you can hope to make it even better. What are you expectations for this 2016 edition of E3? What conferences won’t you miss at any cost? What games or announcements that could be potentially made are you eagerly keeping your fingers crossed for? What could be your greatest disappointment?

Sony has some good bombs for this show: Last Guardian to be released this year PS4K FFXV P5 Let it die RE7 all but confirmed maybe a visit from Kojima to talk about his new game/maybe show a concept trailer Shenmue III maybe and who knows... but I think the coolest thing will be that a lot of long awaited titles in the show are slated for this year.

DR2 sold like shit on PS3 and the only reason the series exists is because Inafune smuggled the alpha out of Capcom after it was on the verge of cancellation while going to a developer meeting at Redmond, showed it to J Allard and Shane Kim (Microsoft's head of publishing at the time) who both immediately got on the phone to Capcom saying they will front cash and engineers over to Japan to develop MT Framework as long as they got Dead Rising and Lost Planet made and 360 exclusive.
Series has a huge history with MS beyond MS bailing the first one out and making it exists and fronting Capcom the cash to finish DR3. It doesn't really surprise anyone with Capcom's financial state either they need to lean on 1st party. It's really a Sega in 6th gen situation.

It's nice to see you too. I think in general, people are not ready for E3. Both MS and Sony are fucking wild this year. PC gaming show is going to be a nice breather but there's going to be some really good shit too there. It's looking foolish for Nintendo to not have NX because everyone's going to get publicity though I'm thinking they might just reveal the name during the Zelda demo.

Allegedly neogaf/Reddit someone uncovered api info with AoE4, Loat Odyssey 2, Battletoads, new Conker game that isn't the Young Conker thing for VR, Phantom Dust (it's been confirmed back in development but don't know whose working on it now), and Forza Horizon 3 taking place in Australia and may include bikes. Plus all the shit we've seen already like Scalebound, Halo Wars 2, Crackdown 3, Gears 4, etc.
