WOAH THERE

WOAH THERE

IT'S HIGH NOON

i dont even play this game but there's a huge stink about him yes?

from what i can see, he is the only character who you need to actually be accurate with. So everyone is crying over getting dropped on their heads i'm guessing because some people can aim better than others. Because they came from CSGO or something? I bet thats what it is.

Reason is, i watched CSGO pro 'Steel' play it as McCree and he was just dropping every cunt on their head coz he can aim. Sure everyone girlfriend can be a medic or hold down a machine gun or something, but this cunt can just run around 1shotting everything.

he uses e to stun you and then right click to instantly kill you

there is no aiming involved

HOL UP NOW

Its like Blizzard knew he would piss people off with the grenade, so they gave it a troll voice line. He basically says "You mad bro?" and then kills you with his faggot combo.

The argument I have seen is that he has a low skill floor (so everyone can play him) but a high skill ceiling (so those capable of playing him super-well will be magnitudes more useful).

This is bad because errr I forget why. Help?

He stuns you and then kills you without any thought involved
And his ultimate is literally pressing a button and killing as many people that are on the screen in one hit

never saw the stun gun my man, and that sounds indeed gay as fuck,

continue. (steel was playing in beta and it was just him and the revolver i think)

Either way it's just TF2 kinda shit again isn't it? why does everyone back this shit so hard? Get behind Bloodstained or something a bit more.

You can like more than one game though. Just bought overwatch a couple days ago but I still like and an playing front mission 3 and stuff.

>I've never played the game and know nothing about it

>But I'll still go on Sup Forums and hate on it

Y'all had it coming.

>you actually need to be accurate with
In theory, yes
His left click is a perfectly accurate revolver shot that does 70 damage on bodyshot and 140 on headshot.
At long range there is damage drop off, it goes down to 35 bodyshot 70 headshot.
It is pretty nicely balanced in that respect and has a considerable skill ceiling involved.
The issue though is how rarely people actually use that aspect of him. Instead, his right click has him fan the hammer so that he rapidly unleashes the rest of his revolver with little accuracy for the same 70 damage(no headshots). This accuracy penalty is almost nonexistant at close range or on a nonmoving target.
This coupled with his short range stun grenade which gives him a one second stun on anyone near him means you get a free kill just by stunning and fanning anyone that walks next to you.
Very few people bother left clicking with him as a result. The amount of times I've seen McCrees walk down an open lane without left clicking or just camp corners for the combo vastly outweighs the number of times I've been killed by a left click.

na the arguement is that he can solo any tank in like 2 seconds

average overwatch haters tbhf

>attempt to 1v1 the champion that is designed to be virtually unbeatable 1v1
>lose

dam

...

No matter how many times people repeat this, it'll never make it not objectively awful game design

>virtually unbeatable 1v1
>take 6 of him
>your entire team is now unbeatable 6v6

It was fine in the beta, because the stun grenade had a very small hitbox and it was actually kinda hard to hit people with it.

But, then they buffed the hell out of the hitbox, and now it's literally GIGANTIC, its impossible to miss with.

like literally anything in this game. it is just not meant for competetive play, it is made for casuals to have fun.

His pistol does great damage over a good range (average health of a character is 200, his does 70 with a body shot) and is very accurate. He has a stun grenade that explodes more or less instantly when he throws it, and will stun anyone remotely near it, even if it was above/below/in front of/behind him, and also does about 20 damage. His fan the hammer shoots all of his remaining bullets rapid fire with minimal aim penalty (they all go dead center and the recoil is only straight up, so it's easily compensated), and can be done anytime you want. Then he has a roll, which moves him very fast in a direction AND instantly reloads his gun.

So a tank character (400-600 health) can come in full health, be hit by the stun, fan the hammer of 6 bullets, roll, fan the hammer of 6 bullets before they can move. That's 860 damage without even using an ult, and then while he waits for his cooldowns he STILL does 420 damage up close or can shoot accurately far away.
