I heard the coding to the metal of Xbox 360 and PS3 is why the PC version never happened. Like it was completely optimized for consoles to the point no one outside of the original programmers knew how to untangle it.
Xbox One can already run Red Dead Redemption per backwards compatibility mode. I don't know why PS4 faggots INSIST on everything in existence having to be Remastered so Sony can get extra money from repurchases. Seriously, you are such a fucking cancer mate.

The lack of clarity is more the result of the picture than the texture it seems like. Anyway the textures in the OP still have more variation and detail and seem to have an actual 3D effect to them as opposed to the flat brick wall in that image.
I've played RDR on ps3 and 360. Even though the game is like 7 years old, I replayed it last month and it still looks great compared to games currently coming out. I'd say it looks better than GTAV on last gen. Plus screenshots don't do it justice.
