This. Fuck Splatoon. It should not be possible to get so angry over cute squid kids.

>being stuck under water with hideous creatures is going to be relaxing and comfy

you brought this on yourself bromeo

I'm in the same boat.
But I will fight my deep sea phobia, I swear.

;-;

>Deep sea
>comfy

ive never lost the will to play a game so fast as when i misjudged how much o2 i had and lost my moon pool materials drowning

This
Why the fuck would you think the Deep sea is comfy?

That shit is literally a nightmare dimension.

Could you, presumably, build a base from the shallows to above the water and down to the lowest depths, assuming you had enough materials?

How often does the game change, by the way? Not in terms of adding new content (though that's also important) but in terms of changing respawn times, recipes, etc.

Never leave a man behind

i remember asking this a while back and i think someone said like 7 in game days but i might be wrong or it might have changed since then

Got any interesting youtube vids?

Not the most distressing, but when that thing happens to Sugarplumps it threw me for a loop

>Could you, presumably, build a base from the shallows to above the water and down to the lowest depths, assuming you had enough materials?
You can do that pretty easily in creative mode. In Survival modes, you are unlikely to collect enough materials, but theoretically it's possible. With really big bases, integrity will be the main issue though.

As for changes, that largely depends in you run normal, or experimental branch of the game. In Normal, updates come out roughly once a month, or once every five weeks or so. The game remains the same between those updates.
In experimental you get direct access to the testing build of the game, and that means that small tweaks and changes are implemented almost daily, or at least weekly. Needless to say, that can screw you over, you can also run into bugs, see changes then see them reverted, etc...

I got this. Not subnautica.

THE GAME IS COMFY DURING THE DAY

Going in caves it at night is not

youtube.com/watch?v=N2Ikt9RJCNk

aw, would've been cool as fuck

Holy fuck this looks terrifying.

What's the deal with all these Subnautica shill threads lately?

More like, "or so aroused"

Pretty sure it went on sale or was in a humble bundle or some shit like that.

It's a pretty neat game though.

What game is this? ive seen this many times but never knew

I guess it's getting more popular as it gets closer to completion

They've come pretty far

>You will never reach almost 11 000m depth in this
FeelsKindaBad

I think it's called Diluvion.

Someone posted the name on another subnautica thread but I cant remember it.

Dunno, sounds to me like some are probably the same guy who really wants to talk about it.
Anyway, how's the game in VR?

You made this thread at least three times in the past two days.
I get it, no need to make a new one with basically the same OP over and over.
I understand you hate water, calm down.

probably fucking terrifying

Yeah, it's Diluvion

The spooky spider is at the end.

I fucking love subnautica, just waiting for more content now.

is it good? a real game? complete? id love to play a game like this but i dont want more half completed indishit

I have no idea. I just found the trailer and posted it.

seems like its not even fucking out yet. this webm has been around for a long ass time.

My current save has had the weirdest bug, a single eclipse ended up lasting twice the length of a regular day and now it's stuck in daytime for a week

imagine nighttime for a week

diluvion.com

>in the future the crabsquid will have an emp attack that will turn all the lights off

TRIGGERED

shit i remember years ago when there were threads on that game. thx for reminding me, added to steam wishlist....not paying 11$ Canadian for that tho.

subnautica is going the way I despise in early access.
>you can explore the whole world within a few hours
>looks beautiful and is interesting
>with every new patch they add a hurdle to your exploration
>you need higher level materials for crafting
>you need to deal with more monsters
>you need more inventory space
>they call it improvement

they should rather add more content. there's enough space for it.

The dev has posted on a few deep sea threads before

Survival game bloat drives me crazy.

Don't starve handled that shit the best out of any survival game I've ever played.

This post turned me off. Exactly what I was afraid off. Might see how it is when "done"

>just got the Seamoth
>start trying to find the small island
>look down
>nope the fuck back to my base
>instead scoot along the surface looking for fragments
>approach what is essentially an underwater cliff
>see a reaper in the distance
>nope the fuck back in a different direction
>find the mushroom forest, hunt for the moonpool fragments
>the shark things give off these horrible fucking screams
>night falls
>frantically try to search for all the fragments as I don't want to take another trip here as I don't want to build another power cell

I did it, but fuck, man. The feeling of paranoia is insane in dark water. Now I'm appreciating how comfy the game is in my expanded base that has a great view of the red grass fields, with pretty blue water, big floating beasts, and glowing creepvines visible through the glass.

Top game

Last tow major updates added a lot. And they're coming about to putting in real content soon
Plus it's underwater and spook and unless you're a new fag we've been having threads about this since the fake Pressure game threads.
>>with every new patch they add a hurdle to your exploration
>>you need higher level materials for crafting

Literally the idea since day one, do you often buy EA titles without looking into them?
Can't fucking wait.
Also that other sub game WHEN

>Literally the idea since day one, do you often buy EA titles without looking into them?
every
single
time
I should stop relying on youtube footage
