On one hand it's sucky that the IP was so casually disregarded for the sake of slapping a name on a game, but it really didn't deserve the hate it got.

Trolls or whatever the huge fuckers were with lightning reflexes and a katana were nothing short of horrifying.

That game was fun as hell though

I loved this game. Me and 3 of my Xbox buddies would troll people nonstop.

All the tech and magic skills were fun as fuck. Especially that teleport that let you go through walls.

I used to play a made up game mode with my little brother where you weren't allowed to collect health and you had to kill as many decepticons as possible without dying.

I did something similar, like on the first level just hint down and kill everything because it was like a warzone.

All the normie shits played these type games that were popular at the time (street hoopz, nfl street)
but nba street was legit fun

that or myth II might have been my first RTS games because I remember I couldn't beat the demo level in either game due to not knowing how to create a selection box and moving my units one by one by a few meters each time

One of my favourite PS1 intros. I remember the game actually being fiddly and never playing it for too long.

Played the 64 version mainly, had some good times but glad I wasn't prone to motion sickness

I sort of remember it. For some reason this always gets mixed up in my head with Descent.

Yeah, they seem pretty similar. Never played descent though just looked up gameplay. Don't know which came first but one is almost certainly a rip off of the other lol

It is the remains of a project that scrapped. Similar to Overwatch, there was a much more ambitious, story-driven game that never saw the light of day for some reason and the game you got was what was salvaged.

I always saw it pre-owned in Blockbuster.
