WoS had the best combat in any spider-man game, is open world, and it didn't have moon swing. Therefore, it is the best Spider-Man game.

It wasn't the Spider-Man 2 swinging, but it was close enough for how good the combat was compared to other Spider-Man games.

WoS combat ideas were interesting but ultimately repetitive

And once you hit the point in the game that full on symbiote invasion was underway, the game had constant sub 15 fps drops. The game completely peaks after the first Electro boss fight.

SM2 is easily the best game still because it had the best and smoothest swinging.

shattered dimensions was fun, how the hell did slot write it, but then spider-verse was just a bigger version and sucked ass?

Amazing Spider-Man 2 was bound to be mediocre, but the costumes and swinging mechanics were pretty fun.

Shattered Dimensions (even with a sub-par plot) is one of the best non-openworld Spider-Man games I've ever played. The Deadpool level is GOAT.

It's probably not possible, but I'd say if they're going open world, they should make it crazier like the comics, so it has some personality.
