Dark Souls 2 was and still is a good Souls game.

Nope.

It's a good Fromsoft game, but it shouldn't have been called Dark Souls anything.

If it was called Cursed Souls, and sold as such, it would've been recieved alot better.

It was also have meant that the eventual Dark Souls 2 (what is currently 3) wouldn't have had to listen to anything that happened in that game and would be free to take itself forward straight from the first game.

Dark Souls 2 made a mess of everything.

I honestly enjoyed DS2 a helluva lot more then I enjoy the cesspool of shit that is DaS3, especially after fromshits attempt of fixing dorkmoons which created the dead server bug or the 20 million disconnects.

It's a good souls game, just not as good as demon, 1 and 3. That's it senpai.

Also Dragon's Dogma is a mediocre game. The climbing on big enemies and varied combat system is neat but the combat is still clunky and boring overall. Not to mention the story and characters are all awful.

The most I'd ever be willing to concede is that it had technically superior combat to DS1.

Everything else was worse, and it's not a good souls game. Or even a good game, really.
