WHAT ARE SOME AWESOME MULTI GAMES????
Guys, I really don't want to throw 60 shekels at games this sale. I set myself a budget of 25 euro and prefferably spending less that. Which of these should I get/remove?
Is Arkham Knight fixed? I'm really considering getting it on sale.
Speed runners is dope, but tabletop simulatore sounds lame.
wow
this is actually fun. I should stop discriminating against cheap-looking indie games.
Probably worth more like $10-$20 if the spritework was more polished
>still have a level 2 steam profile
what do I do to get to level 5/8 for those event cards
I don't have friends to post messages or whatever on
r8 my purchases so far
This. If there are people who haven't played it, they should stop what they're doing and go play it.
It started getting too repetitive only after whopping 70 hours and I'm just left craving more content(I did mod it, which extended my play time to 100 hours tho). WE NEED FTL2!
Reflex is great if you're into quake style arena shooters. Player base is small so first check if you have servers with some players around you(you don't need that many players for this kind of game to be fun tho, competitive focuses on 1v1s anyways and 5 player ffa is already tons of fun). Imho, alongside UT4(which is not a quake style arena shooter, pretty big difference), it's the best arena shooter around and I have played most of them.
If you're into modern military shooters then Insurgency is pretty fucking solid. Graphics are a little outdated but imho they work well for the game.
Remember to not buy any Denuvo-protected title.
If you aren't sure, en.wikipedia.org
Thinking about getting Medal of Honour (2010), AVP (2010) or Doom.
Offworld Trading Company and Age of Decadence worth it Sup Forums?
don't have that much time to game anymore, so much so that I'm thinking of moving to linux
but I need to get my clicky-ready fixes
Just pirate it, fucking degenerate
>I want this game but I don't wanna pirate it!
>Please, somebody else spend their money so I don't have to feel bad about not giving money to the devs!
find some money or get a job you useless shit
can anyone help me out?
those are some pretty quality games 8/10
i also will strongly suggest Dragons Dogma: Dark arisen.
How's Prison Architect? I cannot trust meme reviews on steam.
Drop Star Ruler. It's unique and interesting in many ways, so it's kinda fun, but it's not 25 bucks kinda fun. I refunded it too two days ago. Neat concepts up the wazoo, but most of the gameplay is just-somewhat-entertaining planet management.
Satellite Reign runs like ass.
Titans is fun, community is really small though. Ignore the Forged Allience nerd shitters that'll arrive any moment.
Speed Runners if you want to play it with friends, otherwise meh.
Same for Tabletop.
Shadowrun is the only one I can really recommend.
Any good co-op games?
Just got Batman Akrham Asylum/City/Origins for less than £12.
That should be it for me unless I get tempted by some Rocksmith DLC.
Every game i want i've googled and has major problems that i can't get past.
>durr autism
>Grid - rubberbanding
>Xcom- saving (yes i know about ironman, saving just shouldn't be there)
>binding rebirth - not the original soundtrack
>Eurocuck 2 - no damage models or cops, speeding tickets are automatic so you can't just keep an eye out for cops, the one thing that could keep you alert... missed opportuniyu
>volgarr the viking - meant to be autistic levels of hard
>banished - no combat, meant to be fun and then winter hits and not fun anymore or everyone gets old and doesnt have sex anymore
Which one of those games would you recommend, Sup Forums?
My self-imposed limit for this sale is 45 EUR, up to 60 if I will succumb completely.
I wont lie that I hoped for bigger discounts.
Get the expansions for Bioshock Infinite. They're worth it.
The weapon DLC not so much. The engine only allows you to have so many equipped.
>Got $40 for phone bill
>It's actually $25
So what do I get, lads. I like mecha, been eyeing some stuff
Payday 2
Left 4 Dead games
Portal
(Rust, ARK)
Is rocket league good for a casual shitter like me who wants to just fuck around? Or is it one of "one retard ruins the fun" games?
Stranger of Sword City is very grindy but jrpg fun, apparently. Buy if you like that.
Mordheim is DLC heaven, expensive, with RNG bullshit. Otherwise great game.
Pandora is a modernish SMAC clone, with a beta(?) patch that supposedly solves a lot of AI issues. Buy if you want that. Fun for a couple of playthroughs at least.
The rest is trash, honestly.
One of you rich fucks buy me Stardew Valley
I appreciate the answers, but I already played all those.
Also played Killing Floor1+2 and Vermintide if you're going to bring those up.
Looking for some lesser-known titles.
age of decadence is really good, only downside is its literally min/max the game. don't expect to play any other character that's not an archetype. no jack of all trades.
You can just ignore the saving for xcom, I know it sucks though.
Issac is so worth it. The soundtrack isn't as good, but it's an amazing game.
Definitely worth it.
I got it on PS+ a while back and I've probably put more time into that than anything else on the console. That's only playing two or three games at a time too.
Gets pretty hectic and tense sometimes as well.
>The rest is trash, honestly.
;_;
I really thought that Starhammer or Armageddon are cool games...
>Mordheim is DLC heaven
That scare me off, honestly.
Mordheim feels like an unfinished game, but still enjoyable, usually never goes on sale for more than 30-40% so this is actually a really good deal.
>MGR is too expensive
man fuck this.
>Ryse
>AvsP 2010
If you are into indie games i have a few suggestions:
- Terraria
- Don't Starve
(Space Engineers, Factorio)
games with VOIP and thirsty betas?
>4,99 is too expensive
What?
Already played Terraria and Don't Starve
No offense, but no way I'm getting Factorio. Tried Space Engineers in a free weekend and did not get it.
i'm too stupid to enjoy this game
star ruler 2 was meh. Cheaper than stellaris and distant worlds but not as good.
If you want a decent yet cheap 4X spehss game try out sword of the stars.
Don't bother with planetary anal waste of money, dead game
car mechanic sim 2015, is it actually good?
Is Dark Souls 3 good and worth getting?
That's not the price
not him, but ryse for 5 dollars is acceptable, very pretty and it scratches the Gladiator/swords and sandals itch.
Avp 2010 had great atmosphere, 3 whole campaigns, an mostly enjoyable multiplayer, and 3 distinct and unique races to play as. worst case scenario is he gets a refund
For that price? Not a chance.
Wait for edition with all DLCs, just like most people did with 2.
Since I already had all the games I want before the sale, I decided to get some indie garbage.
Any opinions on these? I just picked a few that looked like the kind of shit I might enjoy.
The last games i can come up with are the Borderlands games.
That's it, i am outta ideas.
What's the price then?
>worth it
Meh, i would say that BI as a whole isnt worth it, but if you already in, then you should play it all.
Any good MMORPGS?
How hard is it to learn Street Fighter? I've always been terrible at fighting games but I'm feeling the urge.
Didn't play Pre-Sequel yet so thanks for the reminder.
Wish there were much more co-op games
It's pretty easy to learn at a casual level. Though if you have to ask I would just plain not bother playing it at any level but that.
I think it's the best in the series, so definately
Isn't Ryse QTE galore though? Why would you play something like that?
As for Avsp, the multiplayer is dead nigga.
HEY HEY HEY WHAT'S GOING ON IN THIS THREAD??
This game is good, but puts too much RNG into a roguelike.
Even you are good, the mothership has so many shields, many games are sure to be lost.
I've never played a civ game before but they always interested me.
Should I get the civ v complete edition for 12 burgerbucks?
It's not about being stupid or not, you just have to know what you're doing. I felt the same at first but after 17 hours I started getting gud.
So, two people said about that Mordheim might be good.
Is Beyond Earth with expansion still bad? Because I heard it actually improved, like, a lot. /vg/ general is all about Stellaris now.
OTC and Overfall are great, worth the money. Tastee does look really interesting, like Frozen Synapse in many ways, but there's no playerbase. None. It's stillborn, really, so I'm hesitant myself. Hard West is meh at best, looks like a clunkier and not nearly as polished XCOM. Into the Stars looks like crap, never heard of Boss Monster.
Take a look at Invisible Inc, Steamworld Heist, Xenonauts and Battle Brothers. And Bastard Bonds.
I have myself only played Borderlands 2 for about 20 hours.
I just couldn't keep my interest with the game for some reason.
Maybe the guns i were getting didn't feel unique enough..
Bored the shit out of me. People like the tactical gameplay, but I can't even stand real-time with pause games. Also the RNG fucked you pretty well sometimes.
does this have decent keyboard support
?
>Take a look at Invisible Inc, Steamworld Heist, Xenonauts and Battle Brothers. And Bastard Bonds.
Thanks for the advice, but I already have all of those (Steamworld on 3DS) apart from Battle Brothers, which I'm putting on hold until it comes out of Early Access.
>euro
Rayman origins
It's local co-op though
>Monopoly money
I got Star Ruler 2 at GOG for 10$ and I cant say I liked it. Sure, it have unique elements and you can do really fun things like making starships that track and pull planets around, make ringworlds and such, but whole game system was a bit too unique for me. Economic cycles with money not carying over to next one, planet levels system that turns most of planets you colonize into food/water sources and nothing else and such.
I would really recommend Satellite Reign, tho. Sure, it would really make use of REAL pause (slowing down time slows down camera as well, making it pretty much useless) and most importantly - Ai for your own people, so they would shoot back (or not) when needed, so you wont have to babysit them 24/7 - but overall, I had really great fun playing this.
Good taste. Age of Wonders 3, Shadowrun, Renowned Explorers?
Any recommendations you'd share?
is ark good
recommend me some fun cheap indieshit pls
Boss Monster works better as a board game (as it is) desu
It is good if you have friends to play with.
It gets boring when played alone.
Looking for 4+ online co-op
Really shouldn't be a factor, but you can bind whatever keys you want to. I've played with friends on keyboard. I can't stress enough how important a pad is for things like motions, though.
Trying to do motions on the keyboard is a fight against yourself. It's worth getting an f310 or something while you're learning.
Already have AoW3 and all of the Shadowrun games. I'll have a look at Renowned Explorers.
I don't usually give recommendations because I'm pretty bad at them.
The thing is DaS III didn't recieved a half assed graphical downgrade, people waiting for "LE DEFINITIVE VERSION" will have to wait forever, lmao.
Also there's a version that includes the dlc iirc
Rocket league
Hows the performance? I got a p old card and ive heard it runs like shit
How's Disgaea? Any good.
I hope you have a good i5 with a 980 or higher and 12gb ram.
the top game was a joke purchase please ignore
runs like shit, worse than rust.
It's pretty good if you can stand the extremely weeaboo style. Some faggot will probably come in and complain about 999999 levels of grind, but that's pretty much just optional post-game stuff.
>tfw second steam sale
>blew over $400 on vidya
and Im getting paid next friday
help
Thank you for giving me money.
Consider buying more great Devolver Digital games.
It has been a couple of months since i played it.
I got 40-60 fps average at (medium ?) settings with GTX 970.
So it was not the perfect performance but it was playable.
But it might have changed, since they put out a patch nearly every week.
Good luck if you have anything but a high end system. Even then I saw people complaining about performance.
second steam sale I mean second steam sale Ive actually bought shit (too much shit)
Age of Wonders 3 gets really good with all expansions, but you have to buy them first - base game lacks some elements, even if they introduced a lot of tweaks and such with normal patches. I have like 90 hours with it, 40 with just base game and loved it - but knowing how much it improves with each expansion DLC, I cant just recommend getting base game.
Or - get base, check if you like it and buy expansions at Fall/Winter Sale.
Shadowrun games are kinda forgotten right now, which is sad, since they are very fine RPGs. True RPGs, I must add - Hongkong ahve missions, where you dont even have to fight and can talk everything out. Dragonfall have good balance between narrative and fighting, Returns is somewhat lacking but still good. Hongkong is mostly about talking.
Not all choices matters, but devs did a good job making it FEELS like they do matter. I was actually reading all dialogues and thinking over my answers, something I didnt do in long time.
Actually, not really. Last time I checked, gathering system was shit (crafting eat way too much materials than what you collect, unless you set up server rules to make it 4x more or something), game was running bad and overall, it was more like Youtube/Streaming hit than actually good survival. Dinosaurs saves it a bit, but just a bit.
Is Bully good or has it aged? How long is it, about?
Don't know if I should buy it or just watch Pewds playthrough on YT.
Any good choice-based game? Not VN.
>inb4 Undertale
I bought it last summer and had to refund because I couldn't get more than 15 fps on all low settings on my GTX 480, i7-970, and 8gb RAM rig. Doubt it has changed or ever will because of how they've built the game and the engine.
It runs pretty bad on my 2GB GTX 760
Like, 40fps on lowest settings bad. and the "lowest" settings in this game is insanely low
Fucking play through the games you've bought before buying new ones. You won't even play through the stuff you bought this sale before the next year's summer sale comes rolling around.
