I've put 250 hours into it, there's nothing you can do to get better besides aiming, which isn't difficult in the first place.

Vlambo already said they aren't going to put NT on sale. They were the ones that published their own game or something so they have the control over that

I'm still disappointed this game didn't get any new content post-release. I'd drop a few quid on some new characters or areas

Dead general. No updates, no new content, nothing so people steadily left the general until it died.

I'd settle for patched that fix the game at this time. Supposedly though, NT is getting an update which adds multiplayer though I bet it's going to be laggy and buggy as fuck like the rest of the game.

Don't underestimate Gamma Guts + Scarier Face combo, it wrecks everything. Literally kll Yetis and most bosses, including Big Bandit and Lil Hunter just by touching them.
Bolt Weapons crossbow or splinter weapons + Bolt Marrow is OP as fuck to. Specially if you get an Auto weapon

I'm shit at this game and I've only fought the nuclear throne a couple times. I've "won" once and never looped.

How do I get good? Currently trying to loop with YV using the golden crossbow.

NT is literally git gud: the game. Just die and learn with each death.
I'd recommend getting Bolt Marrow for offense and Bloodlust to keep you alive. Other than that, Throne Butt makes YV's active wreck shit and Gamma Guts + Scarier Face makes it easier to clear maps and kill bosses. Rhino Skin is also very valuable.

And remember to play calmly and avoid going into open areas blind.

It's kinda unorthodox for YV, but you can also try going full melee using Long Arms + Sledgehammer. Thanks to YV's shortened reload time, the sledgehammer is great with him. Even more if you get an electric hammer and Ima Gun God as Ultimate

Is there any point in using Plant other than going 2 fast? Its vine seems kinda useless even with Thronoe butt.
