Literally the same as tokens on Chaturbate, I wonder how the Camwh- I mean female streamers will use this.

>chats with lots of viewers go by lightning fast because thousands of retards are posting at the same time
>literally pissing away money on something that no one will even see
If this is successful, it's time to end the human race.
> Streamer gets thousands of dollars in donations on Twitch
> Some external site is getting piece of the cake
>Twitch gets nothing
It was a matter of time. Now at least people can get "a badge" for those hundreds of dollars.
It was bound to happen, they want dat sweet donation fee cut.
If they're doing a good job entertaining you/interacting with their viewers, perhaps they're worth your support with a small tip.
Of course, you're not inclined to tip a streamer like you are inclined to tip a restaurant server.
>something that no one will even see
>comparing a job to showing cleavage in the internet
okay
>that video
>watching esports is kinda like being in a room full of people
No it isn't.
The only people who would think this, are people who have never been to a real fucking event/party in their life.
I'll make sure not to blink while that shit whizzes by. It also encourages spamming, even more cancer.
Like the tokens from Chaturbate? How much longer before Twitch has full feldge Mature section with nude streamers?
this is active on dansgamin atm. it's so fucking bad
don't streamers have their own donate bots? will twitch ban those now that they have their own they'll take cuts from?
>Prostitution is not a job
Yup.
They are already in the process of banning Gamewisp and preventing any user that has used it from ever getting partnership.
This. Don't take this as anything other than Twitch/Amazon getting greedy.
not soon enough
>partnership
what does that even get you? Ive seen a few well off streamers that don't bother
its not. selling your body is bad and you can get STDs
DAMN SOOONNNN
from a jewish perspective it's a smart thing to do.
Rather than people using paypal donations and third party software like twitchalerts to read out donations on streams, Twitch can cut them out and do it themselves. Instead of paypal getting a cut of every donation now Twitch will.
It doesn't really whiz by. It's stuck to your account like a sub / mod thing.
You will be forever reminded that you threw money at the guy on the internet
Is there any community in any game or forum worse than the Twitch community? Is there any chat and culture worse than the Twitch Chat?
It gets a button that people can give to $3 a month for.
Also a button that pushes out an advertisement to everyone who isn't a sub or using an adblock, which they also get money from.
Depending on your sub count, Twitch will fly you to events and your sub count can be used to get free games from developers.
If you buy the higher tiers it's around 75 bits per dollar, 100 bits is a dollar USD to the streamer.
So it's pretty much around 25-40% to twitch.
Twitch isn't a community.
Twitch4
>Ew.
RIP Twetch 6/27/2016
I think he's mostly talking about when someone posts in chat, not when you look at your acct.
Yes it is. Same stupid fucking memes spamming. KAPPA XDDD SPAMERINO XDD shit everywhere.
I dont understand what this is, you give twitch money then you can give some money to any streamer?
>I watched Forsen once
While I agree that overall userbase is largely retarded, there are some niche comfy streams without that shit.
I wonder how many people will use this, the average twitch viewer is an idiot tho so it may work great.
tv/dansgaming
This guy has literally gotten like 500$ in the past 5 minutes
It's like Steambucks, but on Twitch. You exchange money for "bits", then you tip "bits" to streamer and then "bits" are exchanged to money for streamer - twitch cut.
>I wonder how many people will use this
Enough to make it worth implementing.
People already sub to channels. And don't via paypal.
I'm surprised there is honestly no donate button on twitch.
Most of the cut is via the sales of bits to donators, Odds are steamers get 1:1 per cent via bits.
>I'm surprised there is honestly no donate button on twitch.
But is literally Twitches donate system.
MFC?
>100 bits = 1.40$
>1.00 to streamer, 0.40 Twitch cut
I can believe it.
I don't care how stupid twitch chat kiddies are, nobody is going to spend three hundred fucking dollars on fucking emojis
Twitch chat usually goes too fast for meaningful comments to be noticed, so everyone uses memes to communicate instead. I don't see the point in calling it a community, everyone acts the same but most people just use the website to see their favorite streamers and then get the fug out.
You underestimate how foolish people are with their money
>nobody is going to spend three hundred fucking dollars on fucking emojis
youtu.be
>nobody is going to spend three hundred fucking dollars on fucking emojis
i remember this fucker did a giveaway for a 6k rig and mentioned thoroughly that you have to pay a percentage of the total cost for it if you won it
talk about jew shit
But that's where you're wrong, case in point Valve's TF2/CSGO Economy.
Those skins are only worth as much as the market dictates. One skin being worth hundreds of dollars is only because on guy is dumb enough to buy it.
Do streamer even get a cut from the money for "donating" those cheers to them?
also: pic related is mfw the current state of twitch.
Yeah the higher tiers you can get 75 bits per dollar.
It's just Twitch getting the cut from donations rather than paypal or whatever
I just wish they focused on HTML5 video
see
My Free Cams, a website that provides copious amounts of camwhores.
You can "tip" a whore so she does something special or even a private show
they clearly think is going to be a success, they already have a chat badge for 100K, which is $1200 at the cheapest, probably have a 1M badge ready to go
There is no reason why they would think otherwise. It already works with "paypal" tipping.
>nighttime Sup Forums
>no eceleb or twitch threads
>daytime Sup Forums
>full of this shit
Damn kids.
looks like one of those disgusting slags you see in those /r9k/ memes
>I don't care how stupid twitch chat kiddies are, nobody is going to spend three hundred fucking dollars on fucking emojis
I just saw it happened 3 times on Also it's 126$ for the red badge. Not 300$
>youtube gaming is a less toxic placwe to stream games on
amazing
...
>that 100k badge
Thank god for element hide
>turbo
>mod
>sub
>now this
as if the chat wasn't enough of a fucking mess
you COULD just hide the chat box instead, the feature is built right into twitch
I'm aware, but you gotta do it every time you f5 or open a new tab
It used to be so simple.
I remember back when sitting on my bed playing Zombies At My Neighbors.
There weren't Let's Players, There weren't e-celebs, There weren't camwhores pretending to care about video games. There weren't people like Alexander Leigh and McIntosh and Anita, Movebob and such.
It used to all be so simple.
It is honestly better right now, but I think it may be because it is smaller.
Streams are better quality, with more options to adjust the quailty from the get go. No more needing to hit a certain viewer number before you get quality options.
People are way less toxic, though again, this is probably due to being smaller in viewership.
Donations and Subscriptions are way better handled through it than on Twitch.
It's a shame that Google have abandoned it, because it is a great service (compared to twitch).
>Trump supported appalled by Bernie voters.
how often is that? once a day? it clears screen real estate besides
>no tl;dr
You're a disgrace.
...
>I literally have adhs
get a job loser :D
also this just happened so it's relevant
Just imagine if that warcraft movie promo thing was still going
>a company wants to make more money on one of the fastest growing platforms on the internet to counter the enormous cost of video archives and streaming
and? who gives a shit nigger, you can count the number of good streams on 1 hand
>:D
Kill yourself.
even with potential chargeback, wouldnt streamers make more money the paypal method? holy shit paypal doesnt take that much of a cut
People donate thousands of dollars to the same woman on twitch just because she has her cleavage out.
People will spend money on emojis.
> :D
GTFO
>There weren't people like Alexander Leigh and McIntosh and Anita, Movebob and such
Yeah and ESRB was created by enthusiasts and fans of video games.
your missing the point samefag.
emotes piss people off so i use them. easy
What's the tool icon? Twitch admin or somethin?
Twitch staff
This is a more "fun" way to donate.
They actually get "benefits" from donating like this.
That's called making a fist.
>twitch staff having twitch turbo
>twitch staff subbing to others and donating
So even the people who run twitch are retarded?
Kill yourself. Easy.
does this bitch still lives?
This sounds like the most scummy, money-grubbing shit, and I don't even use twitch.
lol edgelord
